    Hello,
While reading error codes on my BMW 318d 105kw n47 11/2008 LCI, it's reporting in dde an fault code 4CA7 fuel temperature sensor, plausibility - do you maybe know what it represents, where this sensor is placed? Thanks, Daniel.

Thank you for delivering to us these useful videos. They can really help save costs and help maintain the vehicle.
Now, i have a question, i am driving a BMW 3 Series 320I Model Code: ABA-VA20 2007 Sedan. However mine is Japanese Made.
Will the Maxicom work on it if i import it from Amazon US? I am in East Africa and we rarely have those diagnostic tools.
Secondly, do these videos also apply for Japanese made vehicles? Or its only for Europe & American manufactured cars?
    Kindly advise.

Thanks for your video, does this procedure applied to the 03 Corolla crank sensor test also?

  • @eduardoenriquebarreto6269

Hi and thanks for your videos but I have a weird issue with the crankshaft position sensor because I have de 5V (in my case) ECM supply, ground and with the sensor unplugged 0V and plugged 5V reference as it should be but when put a socket near to sensor as you did the reference voltage goes 0.11V and when you move away the socket the voltage keeps down as you show in the video, I tried with other new sensor and the same issue but when you unplug and plug the voltage go up as it should be 5v and if you put the socket near again the same issue happens. Do you have any idea of this issue?

Everything is alright for me on all 3 wires. 12 volts on power, good ground, 5 volts and less for signal. The only part im stuck on is I have bought 2 sensors and the signal doesn’t change from 5 volts to 0 when I put metal in front of the sensor. The readings stays the same 5 volts. Have any ideas what could be going on?

@@Velek3 Yes, there is a fuse for the crankshaft position sensor where the dme and transmission module reside in, right side of your engine compartment if you’re in the US. It was blown, replaced it, did the testing from the video and voltage changed. No more transmission or check engine light.
