  • After a bit of a delay while I worked on Halloween and a few other games, we are back with our Ghostbusters: The Board Game campaign. My kids and I are working on Campaign One, The Slimer Situation, and are on to scenario two.
In this game, the original four Ghostbusters, Ray, Peter, Egon and Winston, are trying to track down an escaped Slimer, but keep getting sidetracked by these gates to the spirit world that keep opening up all over the city. Now we have to deal with these "burst gates" which release a bunch of ghosts when you close them. Combined with a smaller number of reserve ghosts in the spirit world, this game appears to be step up in difficulty from the last scenario, but at least we don't have to deal with malfunctioning ghost traps.
The big change in this game report, though, is the addition of addition of custom made graffiti covered fences on the game table. Originally I wasn't going to make any terrain for the board, but during the last game we found it easy to miss the red-line fences on the edge of the tiles, so I decided to make some quick matchstick and coffee stirrer fences to make it more clear.
Other than that, it's just another day on the job busting ghosts. Leave a comment below if you have any questions, observations or concerns. No job is too big. No fee is too big.

Love the paint job and the terrain. I painted my Ecto 1 for GB2 Board Game, I couldn't bring myself to paint the ghosts given the funky neon coulour :)

Thanks. Yeah, I was on the fence about painting the ghosts at all. If I knew a way to give the eyes and teeth a different transparent color I think I would have been happy with that.
