Making banana fritters is a great way to use overripe bananas. You could also just use ripe bananas to make your banana fritters. But for the best flavor, use overripe bananas.
These fritters make a great breakfast, snack or appetizer! They are perfect for pairing with tea and coffee. The are insanely delicious - buttery on the inside with amazing banana-y flavor, slightly crunchy on the outside, soft and sort of melt-in-the mouth.
My daughter has ordered that I must a double batch the next time I make banana fritters. They are irresistibly good and I hope you love this banana fritters recipe as much as we do!

I have an 80 year old neighbor whose mind isn't as sharp as it used to be. He was homesick the other day and talking about how his mom used to make him banana fritters. I found your recipe and made them for him and he cried!! The recipe was perfect. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks for the recipe. This is exactly the recipe I need. In Indonesia, we make fried banana with big chunks of bananas. But I want to make fried banana with more flour, mashed bananas, sesame seeds, and small chunks of banana. I looked for such kind of recipe, and you gave me this recipe. Really helpful. I just have to add sesame seed and small chunks of bananas to your recipe.

Too cute
Can you use self rising flour & chocolate chips?
Thanks Precious.. u can also add green onion for flavour. 😉
Yummy👍👏
Thank you, dear.
I've been making these but the only thing is I usually add corn or rice flour to mine. It's so good.
Oh that sounds delicious!
I don't know if it is the way you drop them or what. mine looked so flat :'( but I also notice your mix looks thicker than mine so would try to put more flour in mine next time
AUNTY PRECIOUS I WILL TRY THIS TOMORROW😘
Enjoy, dear.
Can I use peak milk for this recipe and what quantity of the milk
New subscriber ma’am ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for subbing!
Imma definetly try this .....Thanks precious and i still need to try dem meat pies ....Those are definetly must do !!!....You can eat this with black beans right ?
Yes you can!
Please tell me what the last ingredient is and what can I replace it with
So nice, but what type of cup do you mean? There are many cups out there.
Please let me know if these have a doughnut balls consistency.
Yes they do.
what is the oil temp? what kind of oil? how long about do you cook them for?
Hi heat up the oil to about 365 degrees Fahrenheit. Use any flavorless oil for frying like vegetable oil, canola oil, or peanut oil. Cook them for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown on the outside and there's no raw batter on the inside. Here is the full recipe on my website: www.preciouscore.com/banana-fritters/
looks delicious! can this be done with ripe plantains too? watching from Saopaulo Brasil. God bless.
She has a recipe for plantain puff puff.
Yes it can.
Pls what quantity of baking powder did u use for this, love Yr work
2 teaspoons as mentioned in the video. A link to the full recipe is in the description box.
Is milk necessary. Eggs too? Won't they overwhelm the banana?
Nice kitchen
Thank you.
In my culture we don’t use eggs or baking powder or milk . Ours are flat fritters just like our Saltfish fritters . I made some yesterday 😂🇯🇲🇯🇲
Pls what's the difference of using yeast n baking powder. I do use yeast
The difference is in the texture.
Thanks very much for this aunty pre. Please how many ml is your half cup of milk?
125 ml. Hope this helps.
Thanks very much
Most important thing in any recipe is the quantity of each item!
Pls what milk did you use is it fresh milk or creamy milk
Fresh milk.
I just tried it. Very tasty and came out rounded and soft. But it wasn't sweet enough. I wonder why you didn't add sugar. Thanks for the recipe.
Hi, you could roll them in plain sugar or cinnamon sugar for more sweetness. Roll them in the sugar while still warm. So good!
Can one use plantain for this??
Yes you can.
Can I freeze these??
Yes you can
