Niyah 16 thanks for the video suggestion I’ll make it soon :)
Tasty, In Haiti it’s called Begnet… sooo good…
Lord these literally made my mouth watering. Do you recommend a specific kind of oil for frying? I love all your recipes God bless your hands...come to NYC 🙏🏽🇯🇲
Vicky Terry-Rijo I use coconut oil mostly but you can use any of preference as sometimes I use what I have on hand :)
Is there a substitute for mixed spice? It's not the same as allspice is it? I haven't seen that in NY.
The mixed spice is cinnamon and nutmeg. You can use some from each :)
Looks like banana pancakes.
When the bananas are so ripe, I don't use sugar because they tastes too sweet. Thanks for the recipe. I tried using baking powder and they absorbed too much oil. I am used to making them without baking powder and I never saw the oil disappearing from the pan before. I am sure it was the baking powder.
When my son visit his grandma in Antigua and he see she pick banana from the tree, this is what he's expecting 😂
LOL
Is it wheat flour or maize flour? thank you
Can you use self raisin flour if you don't have plain one?
Yes!
Thank you
Big up all my Lucians 🇱🇨
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Some people use eggs does it make any difference?
Can i hve this now😭😭😭😭
what's the mixed spice?
I am MiizPinky it’s a mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander seed etc... if you don’t have it just use your nutmeg and cinnamon as this works perfectly too xx
Can you use brown sugar and if you can how many tbs?
Add 1-2 tbsp and Taste the batter and add more till it’s sweet enough for you :)
Thank you
ST.LUCIAAA Where you from I’m from vieux fort
Steven Douglas micoud❤️❤️❤️
I wonder what the difference is in taste without the baking soda?
It’s optional
I tried the recipe out and the final product was more like a pancake. Next time, we have to use a lot less flour....
