My dog is literally my best friend. I have human friends, it's not that. It's just that he is the purest soul I have ever encountered. He just wants to play and be petted and loved on and fed and taken outside to go potty and get some exercise and have a safe place where he is warm and comfortable and nobody is going to hurt him and maybe be told that he is a good dog. In exchange he makes me the center of his Universe. I can sometimes feel love radiating out of him sometimes. I'll look at him and he looks like he could explode with the love in his eyes. I would probably die to save him and I am terrified of how I am going to be when our time together is over because I love him in a way I can't describe. All I want is for him to feel safe, happy, and loved. It makes me so happy to know that he's happy and that in turn makes him happier which makes me happier. It's really beautiful. Now for someone to take a creature like that and mistreat them in any way makes me angrier than I can find words to express. It's the most disgusting thing a person can do. I'm not talking about livestock or game. I'm not a Vegan (neither is my dog) I love meat actually. I'm talking about a creature that exists to make us happy. They want nothing more than to please their people. For a person to then turn around and do something awful to something that only wants love and acceptance to the point that they blame themselves for the abuse. They try to be a better dog so maybe you will love them. A person like that doesn't deserve to breathe in my opinion.

That's why laws against not informing the recipient of an organ transplant needs to be changed. I believe only the basics are divulged, but obviously anything that may jeopardize a recipient's life needs to be included. This was a ridiculous oversight on the doctor's part (specifically the transplant coordinators.) It doesn't matter if the family of the donor won't allow information to be shared with the family; it absolutely needs to be so other people won't die as a result. *There was a case of a young man who died of rabies, but the transplant team didn't bother testing for any diseases. I believe 5 organ recipients died because of this glaring oversight. It's absolutely NUTS how careless these hospitals can be!

What they don't tell you about receiving blood... you actually have a really great chance of developing all that person's allergies. I received 2.5 pints, and developed so many allergies I had to keep them listed on a sheet of paper in my wallet.
That last incidence, is a perfect example of be thankful for what *you have/have been given! Which is why focusing on caring for self, supercedes everything.
Here's another morbid fact. I'm 23 and for 4 years i talked about how I would die at 35. 2 days ago I placed my 35 year old brother to rest in his grave. It was sad. Also i had a nightmare one night that a really close buddy of mine died. I woke up at 2am to use the bathroom and got a phone call 8 minutes later from his mom saying he died not even 40 minutes ago. This was last year in march
This must have been an emergency transplant because normally if you're on a transplant list (at least in the US), they tell you a bit about the donor so you can turn down the transplant if you want or at least you're notified.
