CynixBox They must of also had him write material for Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood because his name was in the opening credits for that movie, but I never saw him in the movie. So he must have just gotten a writing credit.

His name should be mentioned with the greats like Murphy, Prior, Clay, Dangerfield, Bruce, etc. He was a comedic genius and he wrote a lot of material for other comedians as well. I think it was the joke about the The wife screwing the UPS guy, something about..I colored a pretty picture for you and.....he put speed bumps in the hallway ......😂😂😂 I never forget that show and I've seen plenty of stand ups. he will always be the Best in my book. 💋.
Nicky Depaola No, he died in a car crash in Arizona. He was in the car with his daughter, but I think she survived even though I'm not positive if she lived or died. I actually just found this out recently because I hadn't heard anything from Schimmel in a while so I decided to Google him and that's when I read that he died in a car crash.
This, in my warped, biased opinion, was far superior to Sam Kinison's Bally's show. Love Sam too but Bob killed it here. I'm so glad Vegas moved away from that "family" concept and went back to sleaze on the strip.

I felt fortunate to catch him at a club in Tempe AZ. He is my all-time favorite comedian.
