Greg Giraldo was such an amazing comedian. So real and accurate that you might wonder if he was joking in the first place. The truth is that I can watch his segments over and over and never get tired. That's how good he was.
Same here. His set here is still one of my favorite stand up routines of all time. He was best known for his roasts which he killed, but his stand up was amazing. World lost a great comedian, would’ve love to hear his stuff today given all the material he would’ve had to work with.

There's something about Greg's haircut when he comes out that looks like a mix of Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno in mid transformation from David Banner into the Incredible Hulk. One of the absolute best comics. Left us way too soon.

Sadly, I think he'd just blow his fucking brains out even sooner if he'd had to see this madness, and I figure pretty much the same applies to Greg. Giraldo, Attell and Rouse are amazing. Cook, on the other hand, with his "hilarious shit that happens when you're in high school" set simply doesn't belong there.
It's fun watching crowd-reaction shots in Vegas shows. There's a higher than usual percentage of confused tourists who are apparently at their very first comedy show ever, and are SHOCKED that grown men talk in public about masturbation existing.

I do. I never liked him I swear. It has to do with comedic taste. The more comedy people see, the less funny Dane Cook seems because our tastes get better. Remember what could make you laugh in 3rd grade? Or 6th grade? We keep evolving and getting better taste usually.
