Hey Seth good review. I have the 2.0 4 inch (great pistol) and was considering getting the 3.6 for summer carry but opted for the VP9 SK. I like the sights, trigger and weight of the HK and didn't find there was much difference with the 2 M&P models.
I bought the 3.6 because I liked the way it felt in my hand vs the 4 inch. I also found when I carry it outside the waist band with a light jacket the shorter barrel and slide keep the gun from showing below the bottom of the jacket.
If you still have both guns, can you confirm whether or not the slides are interchangeable? I have a 4.25 and I'd like to know if the 3.6 will fit the frame. I plan to do a flush comp setup.
As I've gotten older, with the corresponding mild deterioration in vision I've found that I shoot shorter barrel pistols better than those with a longer sight radius. I have a P30sk with an LEM trigger that I shoot better (slow fire for groups) than basically anything I own. I attribute this to the front site being closer to what has become my natural reading distance where things are actually in focus.
