    It's crazy that I'm here 5 years later after giving up on the overpriced fancy new radial delayed, or roller delay, or vector delay fancy schmancy ar9s still about to purchase this tried and true good old fashioned regular blowback cz that will remains one of the most popular and customizable PCC's on the market! Great video

    I just got an Evo carbine, totally excited to shoot it. I really don't see much of a use for a 'machine pistol' like the Evo pistol or the HK SP5. To me there is much more use for a sub gun (semi or full auto) configured as in a carbine like the Evo carbine or the HK MP5. You kind of have to have a stock, even if it's a more compact or a bit shorter stock to make it useful.

    i just disassembled the safety rotated it to it's fullest, marked the hole and drilled a new hole. which changed the angle of the right side lever.
    there's enough meat there I'm not concerned that it will break out. If so guess I'll buy a new one but so far the reduced angle is sufficient relief and works great cost 0$ time 20 min mostly cause my dog was pestering me

    Which angled foregrip did you go with? Thanks

      Will do. I've already installed 3 of the aftermarket parts and should have them uploaded here soon. Thanks and take care.

    I had gotten Parker Mountain Machine's safety and QD mounts. I thought about the AK switch but I actually just preferred PMM's design.

    • @MustyYeti
      @MustyYeti  Před 8 lety

      I installed the Gearhead Works ambi safety and it's excellent. It's provides that AK style safety without it being too large and interfering with my trigger finger. Best purchase I've made so far.

    Super detailed video with expert comments. My sincere thanks, as I thought about buying one. Great shame about that ambi-selector, a real design failure.

    Best 9mm Sub Gun...Two Words....Kriss Vector!!!
    Nice review bro, Respect!

    • @kumarsalib722
      @kumarsalib722 Před 8 lety

      The strength of the Vector is in bolt assembly, but it doesn't make any difference in semi-auto.

    • @IYKYK97
      @IYKYK97 Před 8 lety +1

      +Ryan Butler Glock Magazine compatibility, Is all that matter tbh...I can take my Glock 17, and Kriss Vector and use the same Mags, couldn't wish for a better pair....Those CZ EVO Mags look weird and are proprietary, kinda useless in a real world scenario.
      I feel what ur saying tho, another thing that makes the vector great is the fact that u can swap lower receivers and change to different calibers if needed, couldn't wish for a better sub-gun

    I carried the old scorpion on duty in South America, it was like a pissed off box of hornets, want one again even if its only a semi.
    How well does the holosun cowitness? I was sent the Holosun for T&E and my scorpion was shipped a few days ago.

    Mags cracking is a small issue compared to how many are out there. I for one have a 30 round mag loaded just to see.

      I was in the same predicament. I chose the evo because the mags are way less expensive, and its much more modular out of the box. The new ones are threaded .5x28 so thats what finally got me over the hump. Good luck!

    Could you test the ambi-safety with the Yeti Wurks grip? I've HEARD that the Yeti Wurks grip eliminates the problem with the ambi-safety, but I have no way to confirm that myself.

    Mags are crap though. The lips on the mag crack. Seen it on everyone I've held and shot. Still want one they just need to fix that issue.

    • @SargesAdventures
      @SargesAdventures Před 8 lety

      as with all things its a small percentage in cracking mags.... I have had a dozen of them staying loaded for over 6 months and my 12 year old even dropped one twice on concrete during a shoot and we still have not had one mag to crack. But, when or IF it happens; It sucks!!

    How is the trigger? Is it pretty good out of the box, or is an aftermarket mod needed?

    • @MrMd5555
      @MrMd5555 Před 8 lety

      trigger is biggest downfall it pretty much sux...mine was 9lbs of grit, luckily there are aftermarket spring kits that drop the weight to around 5lbs and it's really easy to clean up and polish the sear surfaces to greatly improve the overall feel of the trigger.

    Not a sub gun. Sucks ass surpressed. Propriety magazines. But looks cool. Guess it's a video gamers dream come true. Oh but it's 2x the price of similar guns... But it looks cool

    • @kalel33
      @kalel33 Před 6 lety +1

      2x the price of similar guns? What guns are you talking about? The only gun that is cheaper and is reliable is the Hi-Point but it doesn't have a pistol version. Sig MPX? More than twice the price of the Scorpion. Zenith Z5P? $700 more expensive. B&T APC? More than double the price of the Scorpion
