I think that's also because naturally his voice is that kinda relaxed baritone range so when he does do like a "hmm" or something it does sit in that low register, not quite as gruff and grunt-like as Geralt but I do see the similarity

great interviewer, you can tell he is natural, confident, professional, approachable, friendly, respectful..etc and talks to you in a casual manner as if you were just a random guy. I like that.
Henry is the heart of this series, honestly, i don’t think there’s any other actor that could do a better job at this

I wasn't talking about other actors in the show.. I was talking about male leads who've sometimes ruined a production along with their characters for how much they didn't care for it or hated it.

henrys agent is incredible. hes as iconicly perfect for this role as he was as superman. no one could ever have played these characters better

Such a fun interview...Henry reading and genuinely caring about fan reactions means so much to me and everyone who cares about the wonderful world of The Witcher. It shows he really wants to be the best Geralt he can be, its admirable

An interesting technique for men to temporarily loosen the vocal cords and deepen the voice is to hold a yawn. Do it a few times and do your best Geralt imitation. It works pretty well. 😉

About the song. I love it . Both Jaskier’s(Joey Batey or whoever wrote it) and other version, but I could relate. I used to DJ and I would be tired of certain songs by time they became popular.
Vocal practice, if you practice over time it doesn’t stress your vocal cords as much over time.
I definitely appreciate the time and research some of the actors put into the show, as well as ALL the other makeup, trainers, special effect etc. I really enjoy the show.

I know, I know, the show is not a 100% adaptation of the books. But it would be nice if it had just a little of their quality... Henry is an excellent actor and a true fan, he could enrich this series so much, if only the writers let him
As he said, it's a version. These are fresh stories that are based on the canon (because of his influence they are closer to canon than they would be otherwise) but ultimately are a different interpretation. I think I agree with some that he'd probably do extremely well directing an episode. If by s03 he hasn't I'd be surprised.
I'd be curious to know if any script was influenced by fans but the director would obviously be the one to reveal whether that is true.

The interviwer was great no doubt, but how come Anya didn't get asked a single proper question ? Everyone had questions related to character or personal but she didn't get any makes me so mad. Very disappointed

@@MultiKarola it's not about generation, I'm sure many fans of witcher who are young have read the books, it's just her weird attitude like look im playing one of the main characters of this nerd movie and keep forgetting these creatures names, while Henry shows passion, she shows her incompetence
An actor doesn't need to read the source material and they're not lesser for it.

I don't know where the 'rumors' would be coming from, but there practically no chance of Cavill not being a part of it
There's a prequel series before any witchers were made coming maybe that's what you are thinking about
If Cavill isn't in it, I don't think I can watch it. I'm already not a fan of the writing so he's really the only thing holding it all together for me.

Why would there be fan theories? The book series is over. This isn't game of thrones with 2 books yet to be written.
Perhaps because the show has already diverted from canon? Henry said it himself, this is Lauren’s version of The Witcher.

Henry admits to being a nerd and that's a reason he connects to fans so well. He doesn't just pretend to be interested in the games/books he actually authentically is. Freya wasn't insulting anyone.

The Witcher season 2 is fantastic.
I feel for cavill, he is clearly a passionate and talented guy but the material he has been given for superman and the witcher has been really sub par. The wrote his superman absolutely terribly to the point it was a bastardisation of the character and the 2 seasons of the witcher have been unfaithful trash
the second season was a waste of time...thin story, a lot of unconvincing scenes, cheap music...and blackwashing everwhere...Witcher needs some Michael Hirst.

@@voluntasspes6606 This is a FANTASY series with monsters and magic you dolt. Her race wasn’t important to the plot, and therefore not relevant when casting. Non racists understand this.
The show is just very poorly written. If he would truly care about the series, he would insist on a better director or leave the boat after two disappointingly medicore seasons if he has any integrity.
For sure, a literal Fanfiction writer could’ve been better than the affirmative action mess they have on.
