    Great video. How much power and water does it take?

    • @LivingaSustainableDream
      @LivingaSustainableDream Před 7 lety

      Found the water on your blog; 9 - 16 gallons per load which is great.

    • @canadianrenegade39

      It uses 9-16 gallons of water per load. It is max 11 amps 120AC but it only actually uses that much power on the hottest dry setting. We only have 15 amp AC power and we frequently run multiple other gadgets or appliances while the washer is on. We still watch TV/use laptops when the dryer is on high no problem.

      I added the electrical use to the blog too. I was going to originally but somehow missed it thanks for reminding me!

      Are you off the grid? If so, how does it affect your battery storage? I have a 675 amp hour battery bank, one load at 11 amps would be about 2% of my stored power. That's actually great. By the way, wife and I love your channel. Keep up the great work. Excellent camera work and voice over.

      Right now we are still on grid (sort of), the house is parked on my parents land and we run the whole house on a 15 amp (120vac) circuit. But we built the house to be off grid and will be moving out to a piece of land we purchased sometime this summer. We currently have one battery (and charger) to run the lighting, water pump and furnace. When we move we will be adding more batteries and using solar and a generator.
      I do have a question though, you said you have 675 amp hour battery bank at how many volts? Cause that makes a difference right? Amps = Watts/volts

    The tips on combining synthetics and cottons will be useful for my daughter, who has a similar machine, but has not been happy with it. Wrinkles are problem, but I think her machine steam dries. So excited about the twins coming.

      When we were doing our research one of the common complaints of the non-vented models was wrinkled clothing. One thing she could try if she isn't already is a natural fabric softener.

    Would you say this could fit under a counter like a dishwasher? My tiny home washroom is to small I only have a 20x8 interior. Thanks.

    • @canadianrenegade39
      @canadianrenegade39  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, it is the same size as the average dishwasher. You should be able to find the installation manual online. It will have the exact dimensions.

    Great video guys! You mentioned in one of your other videos that you have a latex mattress. I plan on getting one of these myself after my tiny house build. Would you consider doing a review about it? Id be interested to know how it fairs with the humidity in the tiny house.

      We hadn't planned on doing a mattress review but we would be happy to. We have some other videos in queue so it won't be right away but we will add it to the list.

    Do you still use this machine and are you still finding it works as well as it did when you posted this youtube. I'm thinking of an all in one and this one comes up often. We have a park model in Arizona and would like the laundry in the house

    • @canadianrenegade39
      @canadianrenegade39  Před 5 lety

      We used this washer/dryer machine for 2 years without any issues other then the internal exhaust vent getting clogged a couple times. (I have a video on this also.) Despite this I would recommend the machine for people with limited space. Small stackables might also be an option. For us this made more sense because we needed the extra storage room.
      I haven't used it lately though. We are currently living with my in-laws while building a normal sized house.

      Another question for you. Was there alot of vibration when it was in the spin cycle. As we are in a park model, that can be a concern? Thanks again for you response@@canadianrenegade39
