Such a great album. "Our Problem" is great but it doesn't quite match up to the debut for me 🤘
Great entry mate, cool to see your take on it. 2020 I tried my hand at getting into black metal and for some reason it clicked. Death metal has so many avenues you can explore so it should be a lot of fun. Try my UK death metal series if you want to check out some bands close to home 🤘🍻

first of all happy new year ben. i just completed my first year of sobriety. but now about this video. i am also currently rebuilding my cd collection i am about a year and a half in. i have got both of those queen albums as its part of my complete queen collection. i have about 500 so far. i used to have that earplugged cd and when you showed it brought back memories.
Congrats on the one year mate. That is awesome to hear.
I am already concerned how much money I will end up spending on CDs but it brings joy so why not?
I'm gonna do some regular updates on pickups so let me know what you get as well 🤘

I believe Matt Pike has put a single out. I’ve not listened to it yet buts it’s called Alien Slut Lord or something (can’t be bothered to risk losing this reply by looking on Google). Also yeh, Black album is important to me too, think we’re of similar age. I listened to it yesterday in full and throughly enjoyed it. It made me listen to Death Magnetic too which I also thoroughly enjoyed and then St. Anger and guess what…..I really had a good time listening to it, no joke man there’s good tunes there. Sweet Amber rules.

Still love the Black album but I don't listen to it that often. LOVE Death Magnetic though. One of their most underrated albums in my opinion 🤘
Once you start collecting vinyl you go down a rabbit hole. I had a massive CD collection but it stayed in my parents house.
I would love to start collecting vinyl but I know that there is no way I could afford it

I suggest checking out Death (especially the Human and Individual thought patterns era), Gorguts and Disincarnate for death metal if you have not already done so.

Don't feel too bad about selling your vinyl in a bad financial decision kind of way. I've got enough regret for both of us as I once (back in 1980) sold the collection of all of the Beatles' singles, still in their original sleeves, that my older sister had given me.
