This woman looks more awake than anyone Ive ever seen
She's rested 😅
She got enough sleep as a baby 🤣
I came here to write this
If you don't blink you'll never sleep
SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK! And babies.
I’m going to try this on my husband while he’s playing CALL OF DUTY at 1am 😑😂
Ok,this was to cute 😍 lol. Love it!
😂😂😂
Lmaooo
🤣🤣🤣🤣 mine plays Star Trek🙄😁 and Assassins Creed Odyssey till 3am
Oh my goodness yes
Also babies seem to know when you’re tired and impatient to get them to sleep and they will fight you even more. The trick is to roll with it. Stay as calm as you can without trading in your sanity
It's true, my baby often keeps me awake when m really exhausted n seem impatient
So true! 🥴😵💫
My colicky newborn would laugh at this and then continue screaming his head off lol
Hey
😂😂😂
Facts! 😩
Agree ! 😃
Yup! my baby is colic three hours before bed everyday. None stop screaming for no reason.
I'm gonna try this on my husband. Thank you.
Lmao
😭😭😭 I do t want to laugh because your husband might have insomnia and you're trying everything or this is just a joke
@@HotCheetoGirl_Lol. It's okay. You can laugh. I am just joking.
🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Me who has no kids, doesn’t work with kids, and has no expectation to have kids anytime soon: “cool, this could be helpful”
Same 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me too hahahaha
Same 😂
_Exactly! Holding on to every word she said as though I have a baby._ 🤣🤣
“You are the expert for your baby” loved that the most
That baby is looking at her like what the heck and quit throwing me around like a sack of potatoes! Lol!
We used to rub my daughters nose downward from forehead to bottom of nose. She loved it and her eyes would close every time we did that. Eventually her eyes just stayed closed. It was so cute and worked every time.
My mom use to do lightly rub my face and sometimes back as a baby and child. It was so soothing that I was addicted to it in elementary.
Totally going to try this!
My baby smiles when we do that to him
when i do it to our baby she wants to eat my hands
@@andreigeronez8383 😂😂😂
The more they are tired, the less go to sleep. I'm a pediatrician and I completely agree.
Getting a baby to sleep is not a problem, getting them to stay asleep is.
@Gianna Allen why do you need to know that?
@Gianna Allen Yes I am I had and raised 4 children.
This is the whole truth. Exactly what I am facing now
@Gianna Allen people who aren't moms also care for babies.
For us getting them to sleep is the biggest struggle
I'm not even a mother I'm 14 and am babysitting but this truly helped he fell asleep so quickly and I'm so tired so ty again😫❤
I'm Mexican. I knew at 19 with my little red head I would sing so many lullabies but never looked him in the eyes. My little darling would fall asleep. I did the exact same thing with my second kid.
That forehead touch still comforts me when I get snuggles from my Mama as an adult 🥰
I always rubbed my babies face, back,, and rocked her.. I never listen to so called experts.. More work.. Just keep to the basics, what your baby feels comfortable too.. Gentleness is really the easiest and calming singing even if you can't sing.. I also worked in a daycare and could get the kids to sleep..
I totally agree. 👍✌🏼🦋
This is *EXACTLY* what I did as a first time parent. I didn't *NEED* a *sleep therapist* to tell me that. *ALL* I did was listened to my baby girls & done what my *Mother's Heart* told me to do!!
@@shannonsmith7329 absolutely!
Baby Whisperer!
Not all babies respond to that. For some babies this would be overstimulating. A face massage sometimes worked on one of mine, but she didn't always want that. As a parent I listened. Sometimes I had to rock and sing to her for 40 minutes, but once she was asleep she'd stay asleep until 6am. Then we'd nurse and read and back to sleep for another 90 minures. My other baby fell asleep very fast without rocking or singing, but she woke up 1-3 times a night, and didn't take long naps. Sleep consultants can help figure out the best sleep pattern, but every baby is different. The best thing any parent can do is get to know their baby through obervation. Take time, observe their behavior, don't make assumptions too quickly. If their naps are long and/or late, baby will have a later bedtime naturally or they'll wake up more often at night.
How did I already know this? I'm not even a mom, I'm just a big sister to a 2 year old toddler.
OMG... It's like putting a baby in a straight jacket! NO thank you! These "experts" need to go! Back to basics and common sense!
@@bluelagoon1875 ah yes, because swaddling a baby is a like putting the baby in a staright jacket. HOSPITALS LITERALLY SWADDLE YOU. IT'S SAFE. this is common sense and experts would not say it's safe if they have not tested it.
@@bluelagoon1875 the swaddle makes them feel safe and secure such as being in the womb. Obviously it looks weird and uncomfortable because as adults or older people…we already know what claustrophobia is but they dont.
Same
@@bluelagoon1875 babies have been swaddled for thousands of years 🤨
Believe it or not my youngest HATED swaddling..he would fuss, wriggle and cry until I loosened him up.. But the other techniques I have used for 40 years of child care.
Mine hated swaddling for a time too but would always wake himself up bc of his reflex and so he got used to it after a time. It was less crying than when he wasn’t getting enough sleep and crying because of that… he eventually liked being swaddled.
Appreciate the tip on how sleep begets sleep. The sleep schedule is far more important than we realize!
My mum said she did this to me as a baby, and I would always riggle and fight to get out of it. Now I have panick attacks if I get my feet trapped in the sheets or am restricted in any way, shape, or form🫤
I just want to say THANK YOU. My baby is 3 months old and we will take him to nursery school in December and I was really worry that he will not be able to sleep. So far he would only sleep while breastfeeding and sometimes he wouldn't sleep for more than 2hours, he was getting tired and crying and I didn't know what to do. But after your video he sleeps in 3-4' without the need of breast. Thank you again 😊
I appreciate how she actually demonstrate it with her cute little baby❤. I'm a new mom of 3 weeks old and I can't wait to do this to her to help us both to have a good sleep❤
I literally just did this with my niece and she was sleep before you finished talking thanks 😊
A full stomach and a dry diaper does the trick
Yes it does
Most definitely lol
Let's also remember that know vax enes are ever needed. they have no effect and are poyson (i have to change spellling or it gets deleted, they are SO afraid of the truth being posted). Syde. affects are not evidence of it working, they are. a responcce to. poysin! Stop mayming the young ones with these toxx.ens.
I’m trying to look at this for advice for my 3 1/2 year old smh ever since she was 18 months she fights the sleep
@@mzstacystacks3168 maybe less sugary stuffs and no gadgets 2hrs before sleep. Instead you can play with them to make them feel tired. And have you tired reading them stories before bed time or just chatting with them while in bed?
Please do a toddler version of this! ❤️
My kids hated being swaddled so does one of my grandbabies. My grandson can't sleep unless he is swaddled but, the eye trick has worked miracles. My kids and grandchildren love when I stroke their eye brows gently and sing to them.
Mine never wanted to be swaddled either
I’ve swaddle over 1,400 babies and have only met a couple that didn’t like being swaddled. Bad luck
I bet they don't. Aren't they middle aged? lol
My baby hates swaddle, she will move and not go to sleep until she is free
@@XX-oe3vp Guess it's to do with the weather conditions too . I am from a part of India that is hot and humid. The last think babies would like here in a non air conditioned environment is swaddling.
I did all this without a sleep expert and my girl still screamed like a banshee… she was a yeller 😂
This video is so helpful!! As a first time dad, i have always struggled putting my baby to sleep. He was doing all sorts of wrestling moves to me just to try to get off my arms but not anymore! After i found this out today and tried it, I can put him to sleep now in less than 5 mins. 🎉
N. On. Jk
My baby sleep so good, 12h during the night , no cry , I only do dream feed. I make him have a good sleep through the day so night time he will sleep better. I put the wheel on my cot , dark room ,quiet with white noise . I only wheel the cot whenever I want him to sleep. That is his sleeping pill.
Hope it works here too.. it's tough
The end is the real message!!! No one knows your baby more than you
Many parents are going to be thanking this woman I know that!!
That is excellent stuff to know for a first-time parents or like in my case, a first-time aunt!! I'm going to have to check this out when I go over to visit the little angel ❤
Love how u say u are the expert for your baby!!
I struggled solely with that reflex. Thank you! It all makes sense now
This makes me laugh because it’s all of the things my baby hates. She doesn’t like her face touched, doesn’t like shushed, hates being swaddled (tried all swaddling styles and types of swaddles). Not all babies will do well with these recommendations, and if you are an exception, just know you are not alone.
I would also hate it. Not everyone is same.😅
Same here. Swaddling, shushing, bouncing and face touching severely piss off my daughter 😅
So beautiful to be a mother💚
This was super helpful! Helped me and baby. Thanks so much🙏🏼
WOW this is great info. Glad I came across it today. Keep up the good work all the new parents watching this.
As a first time dad, thank you my baby is 1 month old today. This works like magic
Thanks a lot for sharing these tips. Literally helpful.
Love all of these tips - I did most of them on my 6 year old and she was the best sleeper. She’s right - sleep begets sleep.
Beautiful how are you
at 6 yrs old arent they in kinder ?
That was magical when she laid him down. I wanna be THAT comfortable when I sleep holy moly. Wish it was that easy with my two boys.
I use a receiving blanket over half of their face while rocking back and forth. Works every time.
How interesting. That’s exactly how I’ve put my grandchildren to sleep. My daughter always said I had a magic touch.
This is too amazing
Found you
I lost track of u these days 😂
Good I found u! :)
All of that is so true and works absolutely when done in the right way and yes, "it's all about the timing". I too do the gentle stroking forehead, eyebrow and nose and it works wonders immediately but again, only and only when "the timing is rightly assessed" to try all of this to put the baby to sleep and help them stay asleep.
I used to get my whole toddler class to sleep within 15 minutes, by doing the eye-brow stroke. They were also listening to lullaby music. If they pushed my hand away, I just kept doing it, until they fell asleep. 12 kids asleep in fifteen minutes! I did this every day!
I always wondered how daycare did it with all those kids at nap time lol
If only as Early years teachers could understand what it is best for our children , not for us, our practice would improve dramatically. Listen to the child, if pushes your hand is not right you keep doing. Observation, try what the child likes, respect their decisions, and NOT. base your practice in what everyone does, always think am I doing right? How much I understand about the sleeping process and how body works and what happen when a child is sleeping? RESEARCH,RESEARCH,RESEARCH. OBSERVATION AND THEN ASSESSMENT. You are going to be an amazing teacher.
@@margauss Having a sleep pattern/schedule helps. Massage helps as well. I agree with regards to consent. I understand that it's hard to care for so many babies at once. However, must be gentle, don't do things TO them but WITH them.
@@margauss so my son pushes my hand away when I'm changing his diaper. Or when I'm redirecting him from something unsafe. I guess I should just let him touch a burning candle. This kind of advice is just silly to me if it is applied to all circumstances. Context is key. Gently rubbing a child's nose until they fall asleep isn't a big deal.
An octopus came to mind with this comment.
Thanks for all this helpful and safe baby sleep advice!
Life saver!
Hey there I stay in Scotland and I’m so so greatful for your video my son was sleeping in 2 mins after going weeks on end refusing to sleep until 4.00 in the morning due to teething he’s 10 months old I have 4 children to he’s my youngest and iv been so so tired recently can’t thank you enough for these tips xx
I always liked to make sure my swaddle was flat at the back for comfort... great video thank you so much!
Perfect! It works, i tried it yesterday and today. Thanks for the advice ☺️
Thanks so much ma, it works so fast since my 18 months old baby have her adenoid & tonsil removed she refuse to sleep. Almost 2 weeks now. But surprise she's sleeping now after doing the nose massage 🙏🏽
Timing is everything!
This really helped me! Thank you so much! 🥰
Thank you for sharing this because it helps me get my grandbaby to sleep better and faster
LOVED this❤️❤️❤️! You go momma🤗! I’m expecting my 4th so I feel like I got sleep patterns down, but I’m always eager to learn new techniques 🤗! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏿!
I guess your fourth will be a few months old now, i wish you good fortune and happiness, may god bless your family ❤️🙏
I'm here trying to learn how to help my sister with my niece while they're staying with us it hasn't been easy at all, she cries herself hysterically to sleep every night, yesterday was different, i layed down next to her and we kept playing and mumbling ( she's 5 months old) until she got en her side out her thumb in her mouht and started dosing off but kept coming back and dosing off repeatedly which to me felt weird, ut was like she really wanted to sleep but she couldn't, how did you deal with 4 babies ??
@@walidhasni1830sounds like a sleep regression. You just need to have patience during this phase. There’s nothing you or the parents doing wrong. Baby is going through milestone leaps most likely, so they’re just trying to adjust to sleep patterns
I just realized that I don't even have a kid but why am I watching this
That looks great and all but the best alternative is this book called “On Becoming baby wise” this book teaches you to teaches your baby to fall asleep on its own with out you doing the rocking, swing , food, etc., basically triggers, to fall asleep. I have 2 kids, 6 nieces and nephews that this has work for. My nieces and nephews are from two separate households, so basically three different families getting the same result from this book. It a short book which gives phenomenal results!
Love that series. Have the whole set up to teens.
Im definitely going to have to look into this!
It's not crying it out right?
@@goshine369 Exactly. Never forced my babies to "cry it out"
Thank you! I will read this :)
My baby girls were so good when sleeping. Paying attention to babies then it gets easier. My daughter would sleep every two hours 😁 and I would know when she started touching her ear
God bless you.. its so effective ❤
I'm from Pakistan and mom of three .. I did the same with my babies for several years ..and they sleep well by this way 😀👍👍👍
Thank you for this video. desperate in searching for solutions online, i tried it on my already overtired baby and it worked with just 2 attempts less then 5 min. it worked as a magic.
This works when you have easy baby. And in that case everything will work, you only need patience. With high energy babies you only need luck
Thank You
This method helps to put my Baby Girl sleep 🙏🙏
Thanks for the great video :)
The side lowering is an amazing tip.
How long do you wait before placing them in the crib? My baby likes to feed before bed and has the tendency to have tummy issues so I hold him upright for 30 min before I even attempt to put him down. Otherwise he wakes up quickly due to a stomach ache (I don't always successfully burp him) or because he has spitup.
I had one kid that wanted to be held and swayed. The second hated being held or rocked in anyway. My second also required a "houdini" swaddle under her swaddler, because she would bust out and wake herself.
❤️ I use to do this when I worked at a Daycare
Thank you mama 🥰
Thank you so much I have a baby at home and she is something else
Thank you so much! This is great
This was awesome. Some I knew some I did not… Excited to give these new things a try!
Best swaddle tutorial ever! I also learned that a firm bounce while rocking a snuggly held baby while blocking their eyes from light sources soothes them to sleep fast … Plus Shhhh-ing
As a small/just starting content creator, I noticed she wasn't looking at the lens in the beginning. It really IS noticeable. Now I know. Thanks
Thank you so much 😭❤️he went to sleep quick ash
I love what she said at the end
Hello
Thank you ❤
What about nursing them to sleep it works every time. I nursed three even twins fully breast-fed.😊
They never recommend it because the child become dependent on that behavior in order to sleep but I couldn’t do the cry it out method so I nursed all my kids to sleep and it works but the major downfall they want to co sleep and becomes dependent on breastfeeding evening when they are not hungry
@@mzstacystacks3168 I didn't nurse( only a couple of weeks) or do the cry out method. I just made sure they where full, dry and comfortable ( not too cold, not too hot and in there own comfy bed.)
@@mzstacystacks3168 I loved cosleeping and breast-feeding , so many people don’t realize that they are babies for such a short time. And before you know it they’re all grown. But I believe every family has to do what’s best for their family.
@@newgrandma979 thank you that makes me feel better. Some people say my kids are too attached to me because I was able to stay home with them once they were born so they are use to me 24/7 and put my social life on hold once I became a mommy. My mom always tells me they won’t be babies long so enjoy it
Not everyone can nurse or has enough milk supply
Very interesting. I was very in tune with my son and followed these strategies (no pacifier though) to put him to sleep intuitively. We also did elimination communication. He pretty much always blew up his diapers when I was about to change them once we got home from the hospital so that’s how we got started on that before I ever even knew about it. I started looking into it and reading up on it when we’d already been doing it for months. Also, I find the calmer I was and my presence was (and still is), the calmer my kids respond. Good sleep is so important for everyone. Best tip my midwife gave me: sleep when your baby sleeps.
What is the elimination communication?
Works only when you have only one child.
@@FoodShowFan Elimination communication (EC) involves using timing, signals, cues, and intuition to know when babies need to “eliminate waste”. Instead of wearing diapers, parents and caregivers hold babies over the potty. Studies show that this method can help babies learn to use the potty at earlier stages.
Sleep when your baby sleeps…… until your baby doesn’t
@@Mictlantecuhtli exactly
I did sleep training. Worked perfectly. 7 kids, all different personalities.
Sleep training is fine, but only once they are older than 3 months (or 6 months old). I can't remember which one. I'm pretty sure it's 3 months.
It just worked with my baby, thanks for sharing
Thank you! This worked!
Wow that's awesome thanks for sharing....
I'm gonna try this on my cat. Thank you.
😂😂
Already tried it and let me tell you….it’s not gonna work. One of my furry balls even bit me when I attempted the eyebrow part, so now they just eat and zoom around the house until they feel like napping
Thank u so much,Im trying this tomorrow

It truely helps ...to listen to cues.
First time momma here. My son is a furnace (like his dad) so I do a half swaddle so he can put his arms up over his head. Like he’s sunning on the beach😅
The tip for not waking the baby worked for me. Thank you!!! It has been challenging trying keep my newborn asleep after putting her in the crib.
yes I'm expert for my baby . I leared a lot of tips how to put my baby to sleep. Thank you very much!!
I thought she would say something I didn't know already. Every parent knows about he swaddling. That's what they tell you at the hospital too. For me, the most useful tips came from the video/ book Happiest Baby on the Block.
Thank you so much, new dad!!🎉
