I can't imagine better duo than this one. Two different styles but at last, perfect singing together.
Thank you for not interrupting the track during the performance. So many reviewers stop every 30 seconds and insert stupid clips that just destroys the piece. When you hear Freddie and Montserrat it penetrates your heart and soul, and stopping it to make foolish comments is like being woken from the delight of a wonderful; dream time and time again. It took Freddie an entire year to write the album and Montserrat stayed at Freddie's home in England a number of times to assist in composing this wonderful rock opera. Freddie knew he didn't have many more years to do what he dreamed of his whole life and left us with a beautiful gift, that even the children of today try and cover. Look how many cover "How can I go on". Think about it,... Freddie knew his time was short and composed this beautiful piece that says it all. What a gift to all the generations of the future.

My favorite is called THE GOLDEN BOY (Lyrics by Sir Tim Rice). Freddie looks wonderful. 🥰

What an Absolute Treat to have someone criticing this immortal and monumental duet, without needing to interject with comments every minute..! Your facial reactions spoke volumes of how it affected you though. Truly a Triumphant Anthem, composed by Freddie specifically for Montserrrat who was born and lived in Barcelona all her life, as a tribute. Of course it also became a crucial part of the successful bid to host the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was hoped that they would perform the duet at the opening ceremony in 1992, but so sadly the fates decreed otherwise. The equally sadly now late Montserrat Caballe, one of the greatest, if not The Greatest Soprano's of the 20th Century(called by her Italian fans " La Superba"),never sang the duet again after Freddies death, preferring to keep it as a homage to her collaborator and dear friend..'

These two are magical and brave as they were way ahead of their time. I miss hearing Freddie’s miraculous voice. He made me love opera. Her voice is so gentle and powerful I can see why he fell in love with it and wrote a whole album for her!
