This album gets better every damn time listen to it. One of the best albums of the year for sure.
Thats for sure. Its one of those albums that just get better and better as opposed to albums that have a great first impression, but fade away quick.

First time listening to these guys, found it basically by accident. If the rest of their songs are as exciting as this then I'm going to be happy for a long time to come.
That album its like the worst. Imaginations from the other side, Nightfall in middle earth, Tales from the twilight world, Somewhere far beyond are way more epic!!!
I went to a show at this local club and they have posters of the bands who are coming soon and I saw Blind Guardian. I know they're German power metal I've just never listened to them I've started now though and will probably go to the show next month!

@Nobody Exactly, the more I listen to it its fucking amazing up there with the big boys for me at this point with Imaginations being first. Seriously, Throne, Prophesies, Ninth Wave, Holy Grail, and oh man Sacred Mind, etc.
I like the nod the the wheel of time in this song. This is a great song for sure. At the edge of time is still my fav album by far tho. Pure masterpiece
What I love about genres like Doom Metal & Power Metal, is that even without unclean vocals, you can still feel the heaviness of the guitars and drums, even more so in than black metal and death metal.
I originally bought this album for the cover art and knew nothing of the band but now, I am a huge fan of them!
I can't believe this album is five years old already. I feel like it just came out!
One the very few bands that still conserve their own style and heavy metallic attidute.
I hear so much Queen inspiration in here and it's awesome.

I cannot stop listening this for days now, again and again, ended up here. It is absuluteley fuckintastic. I heard their other works, and those are great, but this song is a masterpiece. The music, the vocal, the lyrics... The video is only the final touch on the top of it, and it's wonderfully fit to the whole. Amazing.
Every time I'm listening some of the BG's new album for a first time I dont like it. BUT after several listenings it totaly surrounds me and I'm stunned. As for me Blind Guardian is the best group ever.

I just bought this single and it sounds awesome. The mix on this video is no where near what it is when you have the real thing. Spend 99 cents on the mp3 to hear it in full quality \m/ I did and I look forward to the whole album

I saw this live in Vancouver. The live version was as flawless as the studio cut. Iron Maiden is the only other band that I have seen live that can meet or surpass their own studio quality in a live performance.
Well you should try listening to Sabaton,Into to the fire and Ghost Division is better live.

Honestly i love this band and the guy who comments a metal band for ordinary people,ask anyone if they ever heard of this band in a normal setting;i bet no.I honestly think blind guardian has never made a bad song.They are really good song story tellers,it's not for people with no love for fantasy or science fiction.

Hey Valarious I hear you. There's a war going on, and has been for many centuries. I love Blind Guardian because they cover all sorts of literature like Tolkein _(Lots of Tolkein)_, Stephen King, and Norse Mythology. They cover a lot of topics that can still be very useful in the secular community, even if lots of people aren't interested. They have been and will remain my favorite metal band. I really like your comment though. It takes a lot to come out and say that on CZcams these days. :)
It is a cool way of doing story telling, but as for music for me it is a little too far from the Gospel of Jesus Christ to invest in.

Since I'm able to remember, BG are my favourite band of all time. I didn't enjoy A twist in the Myth but At The Edge Of Time was good.

BTW i trust BG in music, but i think someone somewhere fucked up, you can't promote an audio content, something that rely on audio quality , with something as flat as this. I almost can't even hear the bass line, and i'm using headphones that costs 150€ :| Im just saying that something is wrong with this clip,and surely it doesn't encourage me to buy the single
