When metal meets symphony orchestra, it is heaven to my ears.
Absolutely, Blind Guardian is great for the few songs they do in this format, but we need more. Antti Martikainen has had some really awesome albums recently. Northern Steel, Hymn of the High Seas, Sonic Savior and Carminia Gloria, but we still need more. This is a genre that needs to be explored.

Probably because the soundtrack including this song is part of the digital deluxe edition and if they would put it on apple podcast or spotify, less people would buy the more expensive version of the game I guess.

Oooooohhh! Sanderson already knows Blind Guardian from their Wheel of Time song. He commented on that and used an excerpt in a video. Obviously the Bards are underused in fantasy cinema. Question is how to blend it with more background-ish music, but at least a theme/outro song should work really well!
I really hope a version of this will be on the upcoming orchestral album.

LynIoxI No. I will never let a game ruin my imagination. I spen so many hours with those books, that I just cannot look at the way other imagined the characters. A quick peek is fine, but I have a very specific picture of for example Tungdil in my mind, that is completely different from what the developers created here.
and so did I. And I was not disappointed. Not at all! Have you been following on facebook? They let the community of the book decide what the characters should look like.

there are more books following tungdil, boindil and others. I've read 1-3 and they have been really good. I hope that crown art will pick this up again. the game was really refreshing to live it through anew :)

No THQ is not back. Nordic games just changed their name to THQ nordic.
They did snatch up much but it isnt the original THQ but expect some sequels and new games in their old franchises. Darksiders is likely to get a sequel likely already in production.
