this channel is gold, litterally find all the info i been looking for as a self thaught artist,
Honestly!!
really needed to see that last slide today. I'm constantly going through those ups and downs of feeling like i'm drowning in stuff i need to learn but not having time. So much so, that i end up not doing much of anything, and being paralyzed by choice. It's great to actually hear it from a professional that any method is valid as long as the result works
This is crazy inspiring the more i watch, like to be Senior Enviorment Artist level in 4 years from getting in the industry is just like wow I had no idea it could be done, I was thinking it would take 10 years to get that level. This is very inspiring, been working on a demo reel for several years, and watching about sculpting being important in Enviornment Art makes sense to me now.
this was so helpful, i'm deeply grateful you took the time to share your process to uplift others.
One of the most empowering things is the message you reiterated that the most important part of your workflow is whatever works for you.
Thanks so much for sharing this valuable information!!
As someone who is too afraid sometimes to take Zbrush and Sculpt, this breakdowns are great. Great Demo!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!
I followed along and was really happy with my rock sculpt
THANKSSS
Thank you for such a great interview! I've been always hesitant to sculpt, but I'll try to overcome it thanks to your breakdown!
Hi Ivanna,
I am a senior 3d artist; I have been working as an artist since 1999 and have been fortunate to contribute (at various levels) to some amazing productions. I say all of this because I am constantly trying to grow and learn as an artist. If I am not work, spending time with family, or fishing, I am learning. I just discovered this video, and then in turn, your Artstation page. I just wanted to thank you for producing this video (as well as other resources). Creating a solid video to help artists grow takes time and preparation. So I wanted to thank you. Cheers! I look forward to seeing more from you. -=R=-
oh wow 1999! that is amazing, this video is inspiring and I just started watching
Great resource! What was the linked video about tiling texture blending at 1:49:40? Would love to know that!
Very informative breakdown, thank you.
I was wondering how do you orbit around your model while your cursor is howering on it with an Stylus?
I always click on a empty space on canvas
You press right click instead of left click, and you can map the right click button to one of the side buttons on your stylus. That's what I do
Anyone know what vid was linked in chat about doing tiling textures in engine - towards the ends of the vid?
im not certain but it might be this? czcams.com/video/QcqJckp_q3M/video.html
flicking through im not sure it shows much of the actual master material creation but a lot of the theory is there. hope it helps!
Yes. Would love to know.
1:11:02 : Wouldn't this be too noisy we you start texturing with a tiling texture? Yeah, it wood
Really great video!
Somebody know where to find the woods brush Ivanna use at 1:06 ?
She linked them at the end of the video
@@dubblesnup4457 I can't find the gumroad page. Can you find the page?
@@mattiavezzoli9876 I linked it here, unfortunately youtube automatically removes links. It's "fredogm dot gumroad dot com/l/WpspL", just replace "dot" with .
@@mattiavezzoli9876 search this in Gumroad: ZBrush Alpha Pack - Wood & Bark (Full Pack)
A bit late to this, but they're Fredo's wood brushes. You can find them on his Gumroad. Hope this helps someone!
