+John doe Hahaha, yes the reading is a bit much! I recommend using supplemental books to help simplify the information :)
+HeyRona I'm glad you made this video, it really calmed me down a bit. I'm having my second interview this friday. My first interview was for the RN OR position (honestly, I don't even know how it went) and now the second interview, from the same hospital in Texas, it's for the RN Physician Assistant. Both of them phone interviews. My RN license is from Puerto Rico; where I live. I don't have the NCLEX yet, I'm bilingual, but for some reason when I get nervous, I can't find the words I need to answer their interview questions, I tried my best, I can speak fluent english but I'm so stressed because in the first interview they asked me so many questions about me giving an example of an experience where I did this or that and how did I solved it/what was the outcome... I don't have experience, just my internship that was 90 hours only. And I practiced my answers with my family and everything, everything sounded so good, but I guess nerves got to me.
Any advice?

Well life has taken a spin :) I did not get the job for that specific interview but I got another one in TX and I'm studying to pass my NCLEX I take it in a few months I have time to study. My advice to you is to always be positive, one door closes and another one opens :) and go for it, if it's a good opportunity, take it! I know I did! And I'm so happy about my decision. Rona this is awesome! Your videos couldn't come at a better timing! I just graduated in May and passed my NCLEX in July. Now I'm in the process of looking for jobs. I am the worst when it comes to interviews and it's due to the fact I'm always ill prepared. I'm clueless as to what questions an employer may generally ask. With this video at least it gives me an idea and something I can work with. Thank you so much!

Thanks for this. I'm inspired by you because you've included the spiritual approach because I taught it would be a taboo. It's gonna be my first nursing interview and hopefully job if I pass on Monday. I've earned my license 8 yrs ago but Only worked at call centers and I think this is the Lord's perfect time for me to become a nurse. New sub here😊

I have a online video interview in a couple of days, I have had many interviews, but none like this where I’m recording myself and submitting it. I don’t have much interview experience since I’ve been a most of my jobs more that 3-4 years. After watching this I feel great, and at ease about doing my interview, just thought I would stop by and thank you. Lol

Hey Rona thanks for these beautiful videos it's a great favor when u share with us what u do but plz what I want to know is how many years it takes to be a RN including the prerequisites coz I am not from the US but planning to get there soon so plz tell me how much time it will take and do u think I can make it there even if I hadn't my baccalaureate there also English is not my first language ... And I have nooo idea abt the process. Btw I had my nursing diploma here in my country but believe me it has nothing to do with the nursing at the us ok sorry for being too long but I need ur help thanks again

Oh gosh... So i subscribed to your channel a few months ago because i stumbled upon one of your videos while studying for a test in one of my classes in nursing school. And my initial thought was, "hmm she looks familiar", but i never put much thought into it after that...

+HeyRona I've been ok. haha no im not an RN yet, im still in nursing school. I got about 9 months left til im done. Oddly enough, time seems to be going by really fast. Probably cause the school is so hectic that there's no time to think. Currently, I'm finishing up OB clinicals at Providence St. Joseph. I'm glad to see that you're an RN now. How's your life now that your out of school and actually working in the field?
Obviously nclex exam has been a pain in my ass, but that won't bother me anylonger I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mrs Amilia God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me.
After 3-4 years of nursing school, we are being challenged by the ultimate exam "Nclex"...
many nursing students face difficulties in acquiring their licences,and many take like
5-7 years after graduating trying to acquire this license.......
Nclex test is really difficult and frustrating, i can't believe I failed again after studying so hard
You will pass everyone has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will receive your Mrs Amilia like everyone has been saying she can be off help

I'm really sorry about that but I got used to it until I succeeded, I failed 5 times before I finally passed, It would have been 6 but Mrs Amilia saved me from failing again,

I'm also a mommy of two and I just finished my pre-req not too long ago but I've failed the math section of the TEAS exam twice so I have one more shot. Wish me luck because I seriously cannot picture myself in any other field! 😓

it's OK to ask about pay rate at the interview??? I was told if you ask at the interview, it makes you sound greedy or that's your biggest concern!! it's important tho and will influence whether or not I accept a job offer..thanks for the video..gave me good ideas.
you never ask. pay will be on the official job offer if you get it and then you can decide.
