Just hooked all mine up, only difference is that I put 4 speakers instead of 2, just ran another wire from speaker to the next. Let my tell you its incredible sounding, especially when I found out that the touch screen volume still is the master for the sound bar. Thank you for this video and the comments, that's how I figured out the sound bar deal.
Hey! Really appreciate the support and comment, but just wanted to warn you! That Amp is not rated to play speakers at 2ohm. It's only rated at 4ohm. And you made it play at 2ohm by wiring 4 speakers to it in total, so it may play not, but you're slowly burning your Amp up by doing so.

I just purchased a 2024 Evolution Forester lithium golf cart and I’m trying to figure out where I can order Floor mats for my golf cart I’ve looked and I can’t find anything?
I'm thinking about getting a D5 Maverick and this plug n play audio system is making my decision easier. Thanks for the easy step by step instructions. I have two questions for you. Since electric vehicles are software based, I've seen other videos where you can increase the speed by doing a sequence of events. Is this possible with the D5?

Thanks for watching and reaching out! No, the soundbar lighting is not affected in any way. The only changes the D5 experiences with our Boostbox installed is that your phone connectivity to the screen is completely bypassed and the audio on the screen is bypassed, so the microphone will no longer work, you won't hear any audio come from screen, and the radio won't work either.
Great instructional video. With this set up do you have the ability to fade the volume from the soundbar to the front speakers, ie soundbar at 30% and front speakers at 70%?
Great question! Yes you can!
The Soundbar's master volume is still set through the touchscreen. So if you wanted your 70/30 volume ratio like you mentioned, you could set the soundbar to -10 on the touchscreen which would then make it way more quiet than your front speakers (which most D5100 owners will more than likely do). (You could also do the opposite and make the soundbar louder by turning the gain on the speaker amp down and turning the soundbar volume up!).
Will i be able to control the sound with the touch screen?

Hello! The system is for sale on our online store! And the max speed you can reach on the factory parts is around 30-32mph, and the only way to set that is by the program dealers have.
does something like this exist for the D5 Ranger 2+2 cart? Didn't realize the floor speakers on the 2+2 Ranger didn't exist and only had a face plate.
I'm not even currently in the market for a golf car, and I've watched like 4 of your videos all the way through. You are entertaining. If Evolution hasn't hired you to consult with some of your mods, they're missing out. Have you and the Mrs. considered moving to Florida and expanding your operations. You would make a $$ KILLING $$ in The Villages! Just saying! Largest golf car market in the world, BY FAR!

Does the microphone for the D5 control panel still work with the speakers for answering calls? The installation requires unpairing your phone from the golf cart control panel. The Bluetooth connection now goes through the Boostbox. Can you still use a phone through the sound system?
It will not. 1. People can barely hear you if you talk through that microphone on the cart while sitting still. 2. People DEFINITELY can't hear a single word you say if you try to talk through the microphone while driving because of the wind. Once the boostbox is installed, the AM/FM radio, USB audio/video port, and microphone will no longer work. You'll connect to Boostbox via bluetooth so all controls are through your phone.
Have you thought about adding a subwoofer? I have heard the one that hangs off the back...not good. Think you could install a sub in the rear trunk...should disrupt the standing waves where you could hear it from the drivers seat.

Hello, i purchased the D5100 from another vendor back a couple of months ago since you were out of stock at the time. I have been having issues in getting the AMP to work. I have connected per your video and the booster works fine. Then vendor keeps telling me i have the wiring wrong (which I dont). The vendor said they sent me a new AMP but unfortunately i cannot verify if it was the AMP that was giving me problems or if it is an actual new replacement. But I did notice that the kit you advertise comes with the Memphis MXA100.2S. the vendor sent me the Memphis MX150.2-24V amp. Do you know if that AMP is compatible?
What other speaker options do you have? That mesh cover seems fragile or easy to dent and not protect the speakers from feet striking it.

But actually, the grills shown in the video that come standard with the speakers will do a much better job than other grills. The mesh is metal is pretty stout actually. Can it dent? Definitely, but will it protect the speaker cone itself from being hit more than other grills? Yes.
Question: are these marine grade (whatever that officially means) speakers?
Hertz does not list them in their marine speaker section but that have a water repellent cone and they handle weather just as well as marine speakers do.
after the install of the powerplate and the front speaker system I notice that when I go in reverse the soundbar shut off. I also notice my screen speedometer, odometer and battery meter not working. Any idea what is going on?
Some harnesses on D5s have wires crossed which makes the cart do really funky things. We've heard of a very few amount of D5s still having the soundbar shutoff after the BoostBox is installed and the only way to really fix it is if you had the entire main harness in the cart replaced. (and that's not even a guarantee, it can sometimes be a component that's shutting the soundbar off improperly as well). Furthermore, it sounds like you have a connection issue. You have two, white, 4 pin connectors coming out of your boostbox that should be plugged into the cart, make sure the green and white wire gold pins are not being pushed out of the backside of the connectors when connected. If they are, you'll have the speedometer, odometer, issue. If you can please email me and I can troubleshoot your issues, Sloan@bacarts.com

So will the USB Port be operable or inoperable after install?
The USB charger will still work but once the BoostBox is installed, the USB Audio port will no longer work.
Will this set up work on the Denago lineup as well?
This will not, BUT, we will have Denago options by end of Summer or sometime in the Fall! 😎😎😎.

Does the mobile phone and mic still work after this upgrade?
The radio, USB Screen Port, and microphone do not work after you install boostbox. (the person cannot hear you on the other end if you use the microphone anyway, especially if you're driving and talking through mic at sometime). The USB charger still works. You connect to boostbox via Bluetooth and completely control the audio through your phone.
Do you have more durable speaker Grill options? I can see these getting dented and ugly really fast! These wouldn't last a minute with my grandson.

Can you control the sound system from more than one cell phone?
At the same time? No. Multiple phones can be connected to the system but not at the same time.
Is there an option for rear speakers?
That'd be the D5600 sound system that we haven't yet released. Look back 3 videos prior to this video and you'll see our D5600 tease video showing what it comes with.
Does this void the warranty?
Depends on how agreeable the dealer is.

Are all 4 white connectors coming out of boostbox plugged into the correct connectors in dash? What is your touchscreen volume set to? If zero you will not hear any audio from soundbar. When you say it doesn't work does that mean the LEDs aren't working either?
