Thank you for putting out this video, it was a extremely helpful. Next a video guide on pup packs in VR would be amazing
It's a common problem I covered in my first video.
1. Make sure you are using Vpx version 10.8 beta 5
2. Not all tables are configured for vr.
Check the script and see if there is a vr room setting. If not, the table you are trying to play has not been set up for vr play. I just released two videos this weekend that cover how to setup a vr room.
You can also Search for a table that says the vr room in the name or on the database page of the vpuniverse here:
virtual-pinball-spreadsheet.web.app/
There may be a vr room version available.
3. Remove your table specific b2s file if you are using one from your tables folder.

There are two boxes you need to check.
Open vr settings
Check capture external dmd and capture external backbox.
5. This should cover all the issues that may apply to you and hopefully fix your problem. If not, send me the link to the table you are trying to play. If this fixes your issue, enjoy.

while using steam vr, you sacrifice system resources like cpu, gpu etc. Just switch to OpenXR (realy easy to do) and use option 4 scripits and BOOM! you will imidiatly notic the diffrence so you can bump up your graphics.
Great video - do you have any advice for popper VR not launching? It opens a unity window with a half screen space theme. (I have VR working via popper but not in a virtual popper room… if that makes sense).

So I put the pupack in the PUP Videos folder and start pinuppackeditor and load the pupack and Save it, After that the table has music and voices but no videos, what is my mistake? Thank you sir.
Hi. You are doing a great job with this tutorial, it helps me a lot, thanks!! I have a problem executing the software 26:33 and i hope you could help me. When I execute the PinUpMenu.exe an error dialog box appears: "Class not registered: #Some hex number#" and as soon as i press any key of the keyboard appears a new error dialog box: "Access violation at adress 00919BA0 in Module PinUpMenu.exe Write of adress 00000068" I guess the problem is the input configuration but i dont know how to fix it. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
It sounds like a setting is wrong somewhere. Try reinstalling popper.
I thought I followed along the whole way, but when I got to media manager and clicked media wheel to add an image, it says http/1.1 404 not found. How do I configure this to connect online and grab an image like you show in the video?
I'm a little confused with what you're asking. Are you in the media manager trying to add a wheel image for adams family and Getting an 1.1 404 not found? 404 codes are tags to servers, and not finding what you're looking for. It could be a broken link, or the file was removed. Try downloading the wheel image directly from vpin universe here. vpuniverse.com/files/file/17075-the-addams-family-bally-1992-wheel/ Then drag and drop it onto the wheel box.
Sorry, in media manager when I’m trying to browse wheel images is when I get the error. In your video at 25:10, you’re able to browse for any image you’d like. How do I configure mine like that so I can browse for artwork? Not sure why I’m receiving the error when initially clicking on it. It doesn’t give me the chance to browse and search anything. Thanks for your help!
@dirkdex that should work as long as you're connected to the internet. Also once you click the wheel box look in the upper right corner of the box and make sure it is searching for the correct name. Sometimes the name is wrong. Then check to see if it finds other tables? Try searching for Avengers in that search box or another table and see if you're still getting the error. If so you may need to reinstall the baller installer. Before doing that Search for Gilligan, or gil in the search box. If you don't want to do a reinstall. I looked on vp universe and found this wheel. vpuniverse.com/files/file/13891-gilligans-island-bally-1991-wheel/ you can also download it then drag, and drop it on the box.

hello, is it possible to use the oculus controllers to play?, thank you
At this point, there is no official support to use them. They connect through Bluetooth to the headset, then from headset to pc. There are ways that they could potentially work, but I have not tested them as they cost money, and it's not well supported. From what I understand, it's not recommended yet. You can use an Xbox controller, though.
