@@sus.6445 Hunger, Shame, X-Men (he plays the young Magneto) and I'm sick of comic movies, but I love the whole cast, Assassin's Creed, Inglorious Basterds, 12 Years A Slave, Macbeth and many more. I prefer Hunger, the X-Men, 12 Years A Slave, and Inglorious Basterds (which he has a small role in.)

Yah, because nothing says underrated like being one of the most celebrated, acclaimed, well known, and sought after actors on planet earth. I swear, the word “underrated” is so overused and absurd I wonder how many people even understand what I means.
He nails every accent. That's not easy. I'd love to see him in a comedy.

Michael fassbender is one of the finest actors of this generation my favourite roles are in shame, hunger, X men, Steve Jobs , 12 years a slave and Macbeth. He is just an amazing actor in my personal opinion
He looks like a mixture between Tom Huddleston and christian bale. His performance as the cruel master epps in 12 years a slave is his best work imo. Love this mans smile too 😊
Not understanding those comparisons. He's so much better looking than both of those actors. He barely looks like Tom Hiddleston, it's just that they have similar coloring and share a penchant for villains. The comparison ends there, imo.

So many great roles Mr Fassbender has played. Such a compelling actor. He has that magnetism that whenever he's on screen you can't take your eyes off him.
can we please talk about this guys accent range??? like he's done so many accents and they are all ateast passable. Scottish, Irish, cockney English Yorkshire English, west coast American south coast American, and none of those are including his normal accent. freaking amazing.
True, but he was raised in Ireland and has Father from Germany and a mother from Belfast. He played characters with all three of those accents (not that I'm disagreeing with you) so some he picked up on growing up.
Why this man is so underrated. I think he is incredible. He's performances are devastating.
He's not. He's one of the celebrated and sought after actors in the world.
For me, Hunger and Shame are two of his best performances, and it kills me that they didn't get the recognition they deserved. He's absolutely brilliant.
Both are extremely well-known to film fans and are very highly regarded by critics
hunger, in my opinion, is one of the best films ever, even hear in the republic, you don't hear much about bobbie sands- so its good to see it recognised in a film

Shame is such an intense movie. Even though Steve Jobs and Epps might have been challenging roles as well (for their biographical aspects) actingwise, Brandon was on a different level. Such a talented actor!

I knew Shame is gonna be #1. He actually portrayed how sex addicts are when they are lonely or depressed especially when it comes to pornography and sexual frustration so incredibly well.
Bobby Sands is by far his best performance. The foals monologue is masterful

I've been watching "Hex" and despite it taking an obvious nose dive in the second season, he was acting the HELL out of it despite of the lousy material. And as an actor myself, that's admirable.
Still, he's gotta play the Phantom of the Opera in "Dark Universe". We know he pulls off twisted well...

One of my favourite actors. His performance as Magneto in X-Men: First Class was the first time I looked at an actor’s performance and was amazed. Also at university, I wrote an essay about Shame and it’s portrayal of addiction. Amazing film.
