- #Epoxy #wood #carving . I carve a human torso out of a massive block of epoxy resin and wood. I sculpted the torso using a chainsaw, angle grinder and die grinder. I used English Walnut, Brazilian Rosewood, White Oak, Cherry and Epoxy Resin. I used MAS Epoxy "Deep Pour" resin. Huge thank you to MAS epoxy for supporting this build. This was my very first chainsaw carving I have ever done. I am beyond happy with how the end result turned out and I cant wait to do something similar again.
GIVEAWAY!!! WE HAVE A WINNER! Congratulations to Roni Langley!!!
The block weighs 78.4 LBS!

I’m guessing 73.8lbs, and second guess is 78.55lbs!! This build was amazing 😍😍😍 I’m drooling over this sculpture
NO WAY!!! We have a winner!!!!!!!! It is 78 lbs!
@@BMSculptures NO WAY!!!! No way no way no way!!!! AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! I NEVER WIN ANYTHING!!!!! I WANTED THIS SO BAD oh my gosh!!!
Congratulations @@ronillangley you lucky dog!!!
@@ronillangley Hahah Congratulations Roni!
From the video, its 78.4 lbs but yeah, congrats
Wow, that is gorgeous. I especially like the subtle ripples at the rib cage. So well done.
I'd love to see you use those delicate shavings in your sculptures. They're too beautiful to waste!
A gorgeous masterpiece. Whoever won this should be really happy.
Thank you!
Yeah whoever wins this will not need a wife or a f-light if you know what I mean
@@Deutz-fahr-fan absolutely Weimar
really really happyyyy ehehehehe 😈
@@BMSculptures I'm disappointed. You should have put two holes. 😏
I like how you got the ribs to "stick out", really made the whole model look realistic! Great work!
It's crazy how much of this video is dedicated to simply creating the medium from which you carve your sculpture. Maximum respect.
You sir, are an exceptional artist, absolutely adore the sculpture !
Thank you so much 😀
Hi I am so sad I didn't see this earlier. I absolutely love love love this it is so amazing I have no words to describe, I would have loved to win this or one like it u do great work
as my husband said: a talented person will make a gorgeous thing out of any crap. It's super professional. Very aesthetically pleasing, very beautiful, such a thing will decorate any interior. My great-grandfather was a wood craftsman, but unfortunately he did not pass his craft on to his children.
Thank you so much!
A sculpture like that can create a lot of wood
I absolutely LOVE the detail you put into it. Not just curves but to put indents of the rib cage and the way the arm has a cut to show muscle tone, just incredible!!!
Thank you so much!
"That's some thicc epoxy man!!" Once again, I just cannot stress enough how superbly talented you are!!!! I am in love with you work!!
Thank you so much 😀
I love your sculptures so much! Absolutely gorgeous!
I really loved watching this I'm utterly impressed by how talented and thoughtful this project was.. I'm used to being impressed by furniture but a sculpture is awesome. Really inspired to go make something with wood.
This is one of the coolest wood/apoxy projects I've ever seen. Amazing job!
This is a true work of art. I don't think I've seen a better sculpture.
Fantástico, pura arte. Capacidade incrível.
Hand planing is so very satisfying! I love the feel, the noise & of course the curls of wood!
This is breath taking. The redwood and clear black resin. Incredible.
The exact weight is 78.4 pounds. You can see the reflection on the epoxy.
Gonna comment this! You beat me to it! 🤦🏻

I knew it looked familiar
Lmao
This is a truly magnificent piece of art! The form is gorgeous!
Thank you so much David
I've never seen such beautiful artistry! Absolutely stunning!
excellent placement of the wooden blocks, and great choice of form! I love it, well done! x
That turned out absolutely gorgeous! I love the rib details and the sharp piece of wood on its right side sticking into the epoxy. Beautifully done!
Thank you Mason... Its always fun seeing what wood will be showing on the outside. I got lucky with that one!
WOW! That's incredible work! I'd be very proud to display something like this in my home, especially if I made it myself. Great job!
Thank you!
What a wonderful work of art! I'm most impressed with the lines in the torso denoting anatomical details, very nice attention to detail!
Lord forgive me for what I’m bout to do.
True artists often show us how we feel before we know ourselves.
Count yourself among the greats Sir!
Thank you!
Congratulations from Brazil. A truly magnificent work, a work worthy of being present in any museum in the world.
Thank you very much!
Pretty much all I can say is wow 😳. That's a lot of work patience and I bet the model you used was even more gorgeous. The talent God has given you is in your entire being.
Absolutely beautiful. I'm loving your work!
This is by far the most beautiful wood and resin sculpture I have seen to date. The end results were far too mesmerizing to give the imperfections any notoriety. Great job! 😀👍
Wow, thank you!
This is freaking amazing, I'm not sure if I could ever make something this clean without multiple attempts.
Thank you!
I found your channel yesterday! Can not get enough. Wow, just amazing the work you do!
This is absolutely stunning! I love the choice of wood! I would guess it weighs 67.4 lbs. Fantastic!
This is an exceptionally beautiful work of art. I don't know how you can part with it.
Thank you very much! It was tough
I am glad to have been able to stumble upon this video. Dude..This is amazing!! I am inspired! I am going to try to do some epoxy resin pours because of you. Thank you. My guess is 63.79 lbs.
Thank you so much Chase. I appreciate the support. Good luck pouring
I find the sculpture amazing. The talent to do it is also amazing. My father-in-law did paintings and portraits which is also amazing. He was a jewelry model maker which carved, grinded, and sanded, from lead-tin metal.
I love how you did with semi budget tools and not the commercial grade stuff. It reminds me if you practice and some skill you can get a lot done with the basics.
A real one piece of art, combining woodworking skills with art.Very beautiful indeed.
Thank you very much!
Isn't woodworking art?
Now THIS is art people. So beautyful and stunning
SUCH a beautiful job. Well done!
absolute salute for u sir !!!!

Just Wow.... awesome job..very creative.. This blows the crap out of any resin table.
Wow i love how it came together, really cool where the resin blends with the wood
Thank you so much 😀
absolutely beautiful, great job!!! Wouldn't mind having one exactly like that one for my living room space!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful work my friend! That process was inspiring to witness. Thanks for sharing!
Trabalho incrível demais, Parabéns!
I love that you went with fairly realistic proportions! :D
Thank you! 😄
I would love to have that in the living room of our house. What a piece
Thank you matthew!
Stunning! Brilliant! Most excellent! Bravo!
The rosewood brought an amazing touch
от идеи до реализации ...просто СУПЕР! АБАЛДЕТЬ
This has to be one of the most beautiful pieces a have seen. Amazing work!
That torso is friggin amazing omg. I was shocked how the ribs turned out so seemless!
Amazing work. For the next giveaway, remember to hide the reflection from the scale though. It reads 78.4 :)
That turned out amazing! I found this video on reddit while looking for a new hobby. I would buy one of those so fast.
Thank you! I appreciate it
Beautiful piece!!! One of your best pieces.
This method of resin and different wood is amazing
Fantastic sir
Super frigging duper amazing dude! Absolutely stunning! Awesome job...thank you for sharing your amazing talent💜
Just awesome. Brilliant vision and execution. Bravo.
Maravilhoso trabalho!
After this, you should try your own version of the leg lamp from the Christmas story 😆
Now that's a great idea
that is a great idea
Good job teaching art. This is just as important as the artwork itself and maybe more so
Absolutely gorgeous, maestro. I cannot image what it must feel like to be able to create something with so much skill and artistry. Your work must be incredibly satisfying. All the best and loads of inspiration for your future masterpieces.
Thank you so much!
Finally, a guide has appeared, according to which I can make a chan just to match myself - the same wooden one.
👌👌👌
DAMN BOY. Its THICK
I'm shook!!! This piece is GORG!!!
I’ve watched you do your thing minute times and I think you do a wonderful job
11:55 THE FREACKING REFLECTION, YOU CAN SEE THE WEIHT
How much would this normally cost as a commissioned piece? @BM Sculptures
Agreed! Want to know!
I can see easily 2500 usd+
Your intellect is sharp, wit sharper still, workmanship exceptional... What a lovely combo for creation
It has an almost unearthly beauty. Beautiful and expertly done.
выражение "а жопа не треснет?!" приобрело наглядны пример)
👌👌👌
You do awesome work! I'm really impressed.
I would really like to get something like this. But in a smaller scale. Or even the bear. Just depends on how much everything would cost me
Seriously impressive work and inspirational .👍👍👍
84.4 lbs I have followed you since Making It!
You are very talented sir!
мог бы просто взять форму торса человека, во внутрь накидать брусков и залить все смолой. потом достал отполировал и все.
Watching someone else rubbing oil on a women naked torso, hmm sounds like the exact thing I was looking for🤣
hahaha
You are a real artist.
That is amazing, the music at the end completed the work.
Please dont lay your handplane on the blade but on the side when you are done with them :) it hurts an old carpenter :) Love from Denmark
The blades job is to cut through wood, how is resting the blade in wood going to hurt it
@@adamwolf2376 the blade can get pushed up and you can get uneven cuts. Some times it takes a LONG time to make the handplane cut perfect. I learned to put them on the side so I do it every time because some day you don't have a wooden table and then you forget to put it on the side. But I see your point👍😃
You can see when he grabs it for the first time, he does store the handplane on its side when it is not in use
16:46 everything makes me thing of her
So incredible to watch. It is beautiful
Excellent work of art there young man!!! Because of the different pieces of wood going all wherever it looks as though a monumental feat!!! And yet you pulled it off!!! Bravo bravo sweetheart!!!!
Wow! This is surreal piece of art!
Beautifully done.
Nice job!
Thank you, Beautiful work and super video.
One of the coolest things I've ever seen. And I've been around a while.
The result really looks amazing!
Plain and simply STUNNING
Love the sculptures and video. My dad and I have been watching all morning. It's great how the cut-offs are used in other ways. The clean plane shavings might be cool in some epoxy for a sculpture.
I LOVE THIS PIECE AND ALL YOUR WORK ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This looks absolutely fantastic
I love the sculpture
that genuinely looks amazing and I could easily see that inside an art room or even at some high class place just as a show piece.
Well done 👍! Keep it up with excellent articulated explanation.
