Do you like Tire or Wood & Epoxy sculptures better?
Tire. I love trash being reused. Re the trouser situation: This is the exact reason why all of my clothing is 100 % cotton. Once I wore some fashionable jeans, containing elastane, and they melted to my thigh. Not nice.
I absolutely love the tire sculptures for many reasons including re-use, makes for a beautiful covering and is highly creative. But I also love the wood / acrylic sculptures too.
Both, they each have their place.
Both
I like the wood and Epoxy better but I like the idea of tire sculptures they look cool
You can paint the back of the staples while they’re still in the box all attached. That way when you shoot them in they’re already the right colour
In the bison video, he said he had tried that but since the staple gun shoots them out with such a high speed, that paint comes off. So he has to paint them at the end.
On your last video I suggested that your sculptures were too perfect, too idyllic, impossibly flawless depictions of nature. Wow is this sculpture a departure from that. I absolutely love how this alligator looks. It's vivid, it's raw, it's unfiltered, exactly as nature can be. Great job mate.
haha thank you! I wanted this guy to be raw and aggressive!
If I remember correctly there was an animal with no balls! He chopped them off!
@@gracenjuguna7292 It was a buffalo and he removed the genitals of it. There were no testicles involved in the original sculpture.
@@GothamCtySiren Poor buffalo
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
This is both a great but also challenging material to sculpt with. I find it very hard to get fine detail with it, this is incredible! Thank you for taking the time to film the process and sharing!
Yeah I love sculpting with clay but have always been intimidated by foam, but I'm ready to give it a shot.
Absolutely fascinating watching you create such an alternative work of art! Thanks for the step by step presentation!
i was not expecting a 3 legged tire alligator when i clicked on this video but im so glad thats what i found. i didnt even know this kind of art was a thing. absolutely incredible
Why does it only have 3 legs?
@@eatyourgreens7300 im sure theres a story to it, but im not the right person to ask
Mert ez egy mutáns.🕊
The description says the gator is famous and the art will be presented at an event to honor the gator.

The sculpture is a masterpiece and also the video production. Thanks Blake for taking us into your world!
Thanks Gitara!
1: This sculpture is basic and can be considered as a very easy sculpture for beginners.
2: this is not a masterpiece because it's simply not a piece of Art.
3: heathens are super easy to impress.
@@francoisjoly7696 your envy is flowing through your mouth into oblivion
A giccs világába!!🤭🕊
let me just slide this into the 200s for ya and I agree!
*Absolutely blown away by your incredible talent and creativity! 🐊🎨 The hand-carved alligator sculpture looks absolutely lifelike and the use of stainless steel, foam, fiberglass, and recycled tires is not only innovative but also environmentally conscious. What an honor to contribute such a masterpiece to the PGA Zurich Classic. This famous gator is going to add a whole new level of charm to the fairways. Your dedication and skill shine through every detail of this sculpture. Amazing work! 👏👏👏*
I bet his neighbours are amazed at the stuff that comes out his garage
All your sculptures are incredibly demanding on details, time, and yes, money. All of them are incredibly beautiful and realistic, and this alligator is no exception. Congratulations, it's an amazing sculpture.
Thank you Ray. I appreciate the support my man!
I began in the industry as a sculptor and this thing is mind blowing! Congratulations that’s an amazing piece of art.
This is super super cool… what an incredible creative talent and skill you have Sir! I can see it would take a lot of hard work and determination getting through a piece like this… I look forward to seeing more of your work! 😊
You’re an inspiration! Thank you for sharing with us, and keep up the great work.
This is definitely a masterpiece.. I still can't fathom how you used tyres to give all the intricate shapes of the alligator's body contours.. freaking amazing.. 😱😱😱😱😱
Wow I’ve always admired your tire art, this definitely is one of your very best sculptures. Congratulations Tripod for having Blake immortalized you. What an honor.♥️🐊 ♥️🐊♥️🐊♥️🐊♥️🐊♥️🐊
Thank you so much 😀
17:38 done and done! Great work, my dad had all girls...I was the closest boy he had. Nothing better than being under the car with him, or his assistant on his builds. The 1st thing he ever made with me was an alligator out of wood and rubber for me to drag around on a string. Still got it with the heart and I love you inscribed under his rubber tongue... LOVED this, my dad would love your channel of he was still here. Congrats on all your commissions happy creating!
Lol pickme girl
Wow, the level of detail you work at is astounding. You're a true artist, and I can only imagine your Michelangelo-level backaches! Thanks for sharing.
This isn't just art....its a masterpiece 😮 I'm envious of the club for having this...
Thank you so much!
Masterpiece of destroying the environment
Thank you so much for the uploads Blake, Its an absolute pleasure when a new video of yours comes up!
Thank you for watching them!
Thanks, Blake. Admirable work and sharing your process was very educational as well as entertaining.
TRIPOD! I’m Gobsmacked with your creation and ALL the layers it took to arrive at the FINISH!
It's awesome to see you carving (hur hur) out a niche for yourself with these commissions. You're the go-to guy for animal sculptures. I'm in my second year of running my own small business so I have some idea how awesome that must feel.
I was amazed by the amount of detail in the first half. Then the tires took it to a new level of awesome!
Thanks Daniel!
Whatever medium you use to sculpt, I’m freakin blown away! Love seeing tires recycled. Your brilliant! Tripod looks dashing. I love the juxtaposition of rubber and metal. You go Mister Wizard!!
Wow your sculptures are incredible ❤please keep sculpting 😊I LOVE YOUR SCULPTING 🎉😍❤️
Impressive work
Thanks Zohir!
I literally just finished some practice pieces of an alligator character of mine, so this is extra special for me right now lol. I love your tire sculptures so much, they have an elegance and a wildness to them that I didn't think such a medium could portray, but your poses are amazing. Like high high end taxidermy.
Thank you so much Alder!
You have outdone yourself, I thought this was going to look really amateurish, oh boy, how wrong I was.
This is one of your best sculptures ever, mate. Completely perfect! The tires made for perfect Alligator skin, and whoooaa, those teeth! You are a menace as an artist, in the best of ways! This is the third or fourth time I watch this video, it's simply exceptionally great. Keep it up! Sending you loads of love from me, a Swede in Norway :)
It’s not perfect
I just finished an 80+ hour commissioned piece-I can imagine how much work goes into something like this-amazing piece. Great work-as always...As for "flying sparks" : Full length leather apron :)
I'm no expert, but I honestly believe that your ability to create such a life-like sculpture out of foam and tires is not too far off from Michelangelo's ability to do the same with marble. This is an absolute masterpiece! The things you do will always amaze me
Thank you so much Stephen, I am no Michelangelo, however one can dream!
lol i work with XPS foam.. its simple. carving out of stone is a million times more challenging and difficult.
Friend I love him, but you have exaggereted a little bit 😅😅😅
People really get impres so easy nowadays
@@sirmi9868 and thus more happier than you :)
The sculpture looks great. As far as the material you use, I like seeing all different types. You don't have to be a 1 trick pony. Keep on sculpting and stay awesome.
Thanks Adam!
I would love to see this sculpture in its final placement on the golf course. That would be awesome. Also a reaction video showing the expressions when this beautiful beast is revealed & seen for first time. Oh, my Goodness, reactions & wonderment are the best. You're such a talented, amazing artist. Thank you for sharing your process and how you create your sculptural inspirations!Blessings Always... Valentine
Heavens to mergatroid that sculpture is breathtaking. Stunning artistry. Thanks for filming the journey for us!
I am a huge fan of the epoxy and wood sculptures. That being said, the eagle and now Tripod make it really difficult not to love the tire sculptures aswell. Fantastic work all around!
Thanks Pam!
Absolutely magnificent! But resisting the urge to say he looks tired... was too hard. 😁
Im sure he was having a Goodyear and that you had to tread carefully (ok ill stop with the tire related puns lol)
Cladding the Alligator in bicycle tyre treads was a masterstroke. I wasn't sure that was going to work but it looks awesome. The sculpture is amazing
I watched the entire thing with the volume off. It was captivating just as a silent film. As a props and sets fabricator, I was very impressed with your budget materials, your long hours, and your commitment to simple elegance. It all paid off.
Brilliant. Love the use of many materials. Thanks for sharing your idea's and skills👌 love your humour 😂
Not only are you so talented but the patience you have is insane
Very impressive work.. That is a lovely piece.. Well done 👍🏻👌🏻
I love this! For years I’ve wanted to start sculpting cool stuff with tire remains from the roadside.
You combined all of my favorite passions into one video - sculpting, metal fabrication, spray foam and pure artistry. You're the man dude!
I wanted to see the fiberglass part. Awesome build 👏
Totally impressed!!! Wicked work!!!!!!!!
A month and a half of hardwork , dedication ,Sir ur absolutely Da Vinci's godson of art sculpture 😊 nicely done Sir 👍 beautiful
Thank you so much!!
congratulations your sculptures are really amazing! the most boring part must be touching up all the nails with black paint. Have you ever tried using black nails or doing a coating treatment to darken the staples before using them? if you find the right formula you could save a lot of time. anyway you're really great, your videos are a great source of inspiration!
fabulous job on this sculpture
Its beautiful. I hope it gets to a beautiful resting place.
Absolutely incredible, I’ve subscribed to support you and want you to create more masterpieces like this 🎉
Gotta say at first I was like oh my god yes! Tires as texture for the scales thats absolutely brilliant! But then you also covered the big scales on its back. That kind of overloaded the whole thing
I like how you recycled tires. How you recycled tires is amazing. This piece depicts a heavy animal. It looks like a heavy animal, but your other material choices were also amazing, making this sculpture manageable. Hope the clients liked it.
My love of this 'gator is matched only by my loathing of golf courses! Absolutely beautiful work!
What an amazing creature to be able to honor. Honestly I like both the wood and resin and the tire sculptures that you do! They're both so unique and turn out so well! You do an amazing job!
Thank you so much Alice!
Only he knows how much effort, patience and hardwork to make such a masterpiece . You are such a amazing artist🙌
Thank you DN!
Wow landed on this as a recommendation. Well done YT this was actually worth watching. Fantastic sculpture sir!!
Wonderful craftsmanship!
That’s insane how good that looks! The texture makes it man
Thanks Jessie!
You never fail to amaze us, Blake.
I was wondering when an alligator was going to be the target of these foam/fiberglass/tire sculptures. The result is better than what i could have possibly imagined.
While i'm not a fan of golf or its negative environmental impact on native ecosystems/biodiversity, i can still very much see just how much of an honor it was to have this commissioned by Zurich. What a spectacular feat.
Truly cannot wait to see what you'll do next (as always).
If i only had the money, i would love to commission you to sculpt me a piece of my original alien species.
A distant dream to be, im sure but its still fun to imagine X)
Thank you so much! I've wanted to do an alligator out of tires for a long time now. appreciate it!
Really? You’re bringing an environmental agenda into a comment section about a beautiful sculpture? Just so you know, golf courses provide significant natural areas that benefit people and wildlife in increasingly urbanized communities across North America and throughout the world (according to Audubon International).
@@Easy_Going__ Aah! i didn't mean any disrespect to the piece by it, im awfully sorry.
Also i wasn't aware of there being much environmental benefits. That's on me.
Most things i've read on/heard of tend to focus on the loss of biodiversity with how much of the land gets turned from untouched prarie (with wild flowers and herbs and shrubs with their own fauna of course) into regularly trimmed grass and the heavy use of pesticides.
I was happy to read that they do try to be more eco friendly and provide for the wildlife that they allow to stick close-ish.
Thank you for the enlightement :3
@@Zuhqeel A very polite & reasonable response. Thank you.
Honestly I don’t have the words to express your talent .
🙀 Speechless! And NOT a cat video. I watched every minute, fascinated by how you were able to create something something so unique out of tires yet lifelike and true to form. Great sculpture and a well made “riveting” video. 💕
Tohle je prostě talent, každa čest
Time well spent. You are very creative.
I've seen several of your videos and this one made me a subscriber! I am born and raised Florida Gator! I would LOVE a FL Gator for my son and daughter-in-law. They are die hard Gator fans! If you do sculptures for customers I would be very interested. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work! You are AMAZING!💥❤
I recently built a 3D Crocodile out of biodegradable pots and stir sticks for paint. Mostly it's solid but after watching your video I think I'll try fill her in with that spray foam to help solidify the body. Ty! Perfect timing for me and wow! What an amazing Aligator out of tires. Absolutely love it! ❤
Excellent work!👏
This is an amazing job what you did
I taught you'd messed up when i saw the tires.. what a Twist!
It looks really good!
Thanks for the video!
From Canada 🇨🇦
Absolutely amazing!
This video may have literally just pushed me to be a sculptor. (I've done small scale stuff but I am now seriously intrigued and motivated to try my hand at something more substantial
Really interesting construction and care for the armature.
The end result is impressive, It must give you immense satisfaction seeing it all come together
I recently saw a clever person pre-color (paint) the staples before applying them to a project to save on the tedious job of coloring them afterward. Never occurred to me before seeing that. Brilliant results on this sculpture! I hope it got some good coverage at the event.
I love this! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this!😀
Absolutely amazing with perfection 😊
Your super talented !
You, sir are an amazing artist ! I love the tire videos ! I have never thought of foam and bike tires ! I did make a giant butterfly out of a wooden outdoor umbrella frame, but now my mind is working overtime after seeing your videos !! 🙄 You are funny too ! Thank you for just being you ! More videos please ! ❤❤❤
I want to see
What an absolute legend. This is stunning!
As someone who can only draw, all I can say is WOW! What an awesome job. My grandmother has artwork in museums, she taught me so much, so I can appreciate your work. Unbelievable my friend….really nice work 👍🙂 Amazing! One day I’ll be able to do what your already able to do…..I hope🤞
Practice makes perfect ❤
Really amazing work. Your have such a great eye for shaping and the carvings. 😮❤🎉
I love it. I have made Christmas Ornaments for years using this building foam sheets..this just amazes me
Loved the rear facing time-lapse shot of the sculpture en route to its destination
A wonderful job, I am very impressed. It's a lot of fun to watch 👍👍👍
watched - start to finish. the word deserves that much - great job, awesome video - 18 minutes of thorough entertainment!
WOW, just wow. You sir have talent BUT it is the base that is truly remarkable ;)
Dude, that's amazing. I'm awe struck. It's literally the most beautiful sculpture of a reptile that I've ever seen.
That is a level of skill and patience I will never know!
Outstanding!
Cool never saw a tire sculpture before amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!
that was cool. And, one of a kind!
Watching stuff this is why I encourage kids to explore the arts find what moves you, this right here is ART.
Dear Heart!
You inspired me!! For a long time, I've wanted a tire sculpture of a HUUUUGE snake I once saw posted on farcebk. It was coiled to strike and it was fearsome.
Now, personally, i don't like snakes, but this snake was AWEsome! Stick THAT in your front yard and you'd have no need for an alarm system!! Making my own version would be right up my alley.
By the way, I'll be 77, soon. And I'm just getting started. I'm learning shop equipment and I've got ideas. Oh, boy, do i have ideas!!!
Thank you. Shalom and GOD Bless you.

Absolutely brilliant!!!
Blake and yet you astound your audience with the marvels of yet another phenominal creation of your sculpting master class. Absolutely amazing. More, more, more. 🐊
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A huge fan in CA.👍
Thank you so much Ferro !!!
I’m 8 min in and so far I’m most impressed by how you created the scales down the body and tail.
I had to laugh when you said at the end that the filming and editing process was just as much work as building the alligator, man that is EXACTLY what I was thinking about during the entire video lol! making videos makes anything you're doing take twice as long!!
Wow, I have to say, this is your best work so far! 🔥
... then, proceed to watch another BM Sculptures video, and say the same thing!
👏👏👏
Incredible piece of art, the texture of the tire fits so well I won't ever see a crocodilian without associating it with tires again.
Also, I couldn't help but shiver at the thought of some bird pooping on it while it was being transported and installed outside. 🤣
Amazing work! i like it
Very cool. I really enjoyed that video. Great work. Thank you
Amazing Talent! I was trying to guess where you were going at the beginning of the video but never would have imagined the end results. GREAT JOB!
