Most aggressive 4.0 mustang exhaust setup ever!

- This sound truly sounds way more aggressive in person than is does on camera. Thank you guys for watching and I hope you guys enjoyed the exhaust setup. If you are looking for any of the parts I used I listed them down below.

I have a 4.0 as well 2009 I have 91 oct tune full exhaust system and suspension mods and 100 shot nitrous.

@@hunterwalters0 thank you. I am right now waiting for my custom retro fit demon eyes headlights to come in and I am installing rear lower control arms and relocation brackets and redstuff break pads. This week
I also have a S281 saleen front bumper I have to sand prep and paint this week.

Thanks for the video, i have a 4.0 thats catless off road xpipe and muffler delete kit, i have a set of longtubes i need to put on but when i do I wanted to match it up with a axle back to change the tone a bit, you should make a up day video on it, more sound clips and cold starts if you still have it
I did the taillights also. Looks much better than stock for that year

Holy crap does that sound good! I’ve been holding onto a full kooks setup for my 4.0 but after a bad wreck last summer I’ve been busy rebuilding it, finally got it back on the road but I have a bunch more touch ups left to do with my a/c and Other miscellaneous items

Any Update on your mods.
I have my custom demon eyes lights installed and front s281 saleen bumper installed it definitely made my 4.0 mustang look completely different and aggressive. I am looking forward to buying performance cams by May.

The one I had sounded more meaner at the high Rev but at idle it sounded the same as this one
Edit I saw the drive by clip it sounds like mine at open throttle
Did you have to delete your cats for the mid pipe? And also it says that the Mid pipe only works with specific headers was there any modifications needed to fit?
My cats were deleted while installing my long tube headers. There are matted long tube headers but I was lucky enough to find catless headers. It took a while to find them and some research but I was able to get my mid pipe with my headers as an off-road setup
@@hunterwalters0 okay makes sense, so do you have a 3in collector? Or are you running a 2.5 to 3 inch adapter from your header to the mid pipe? I just got the same lethal performance kooks x pipe just need to figure out how to get it and the headers together
I don’t have a collector. It’s confusing but all the exhaust pipes I bought were 3” with normal connections to the other exhaust pipes. And I know headers are hard to find but if you cant find any long tube catless I know there are JBA headers that aren’t bad that are catless and long tubes I haven’t heard anything too bad about them

Where did you find that badge for the rear deck lid?
I believe I actually blacked it out myself. With masking off the decklid and then using primer and paint and clear coat
I deleted cat and check engine light come out any idea how to solve this I have same car as you
To get the check engine light off, if you have a tuner you can delete the code and it shouldn’t come up no more. Or if the shop did it you can see if they can delete that code for you

I personally would start with the pypes true dual over axle exhaust and axle back

@@caleb7527 the true dual will come with your x pipe so after you get the true dual over axles and axle back all you will need is the headers and then your ready to rock my man!

do you think longtunes into a straight piped single exit would sound aggressive as well? im running an slp loudmouth and might just stick with that and headers
In my opinion I think long tube headers with straight pipes might be a little too raspy and won’t give you a controlled aggressive tone I would try the loudmouths with headers first and if you don’t like it. It’s always worth a try. Everything is always worth a try brother
Nice sounding. revlines 18 inch cherrybimb glasspack set up with the same headers sounds way better imo.

Lol I get it man. I just like what I like and heard this exhaust on another coyote and new I had to have it. Regardless of what you do to a coyote it just sounds good😂. That’s awesome that you got an exhaust you love man. I’ve always liked the side pipes too

Good for a 6 but there’s an obvious difference !! This sounds nothing like a V8 those extra 2 cylinders make all the difference !! When you rev it up and get on it the “riceyness” is a dead giveaway !! I’m not talking shit either, I’ve drove only V8 stangs since 2002 but my first Stang was a brand new 97 V6 and no matter the setup it’s never gonna sound like a V8 !!
