My beagle was the same, I had to wake him at 6 am so he could go to pee (The last pee was like at 10 pm, too many hours without peeing) and then he came back running so his mom could tuck him inside the sheets. Then he used to slept until 11 or 12 ready for his first walk of the day. He was SO spoiled!! ha ha ha ha!!!
To be fair, if I had that adorable, chunky, snuggly beagle in my bed, I'd never want to get up either
