I've been devastated losing Spirit so long ago now, & I'm not able 2 have any pet @ this time, but if I was, it would only b 1 dog, & it would surely b a Beagle!!! Seeing this today, hearing 18 sounds a Beagle makes in 4 mins, was an absolute delight, ty beyond words!!! It's all about love & being loved, that was Spirit, I'm so very grateful!!! I had to put down my boy (beagle) Trey two days ago. Had him since I was like 17 and now I'm 27. One of the hardest things I've had to go through. Loved him so much. Trey lived to be 12 and a half. These sounds really help my healing.

What a beautiful pupper. And yes those sounds And interpretations are accurate. My Beagle rescue, Frida died in her sleep 2 days ago At home from old age (14 years old) and cancer. All those sounds you recorded are like music to my ears. Thank you for putting this together. They are great dogs, super loving and entertaining. Lol. All around a perfect addition to any family. I'm very glad that I had the priviledge to raise one from young, and I'm sure anybody else who wants to adopt one won't be disappointed either. Thank you soooooo much for compiling and posting this!!! I miss my Petey, who I lost in 2015 after nearly 15 years together. This brought back so many wonderful memories of him....small hounds are the BEST. I just love Beagle noises!!!! My Petey was actually a hound of few words....only truly barking at snakes, but he spoke all these other words, plus the "snotty snear of disgusted beagle puppy protest" when he first showed up as a stray at about 4 months old. Whenever I picked him up, he would thrash about, wrinkle his nose and make that beagle puppy swearing noise...if you've had a beagle, you know the sound! I would sit and watch an entire 1/2 hour sitcom just calmly holding him while he protested and squirmed. Every day. For about a month. He finally figured out I was more determined than he was! From that day forward - BEST DOG EVER!!! In the end, I could carry him anywhere and everwhere....even nose straight down and butt straight up!!! Not a mean bone in his body and absolutely trusting. And beagles surely do make sleeping look wonderful as that last scene perfectly portrayed. You wanta sell dog beds? Put a beagle on one and take his picture....make a million!! Thanks again for sharing your little hound with all of us!
I love beagles so much. They are the best dogs. I’ve been blessed with 4 of them since I was 4 years old and a beagle niece. I miss them all so much. They are in Heaven now and I can’t wait to see them again. These sounds really made me smile tonight. This sounds so much like my old dog, Flash, that I had to remind myself multiple times it wasn't him. Even down to the constant repeating pattern of threes with the occasional group of four when drinking, and the "Dreaming of rabbits," or in Flash's case, dreaming of literally ANYTHING moving 100 metres away down the road. Car, dog, cat, blade of grass, the wind turbine that never _stopped_ moving, he'd scare it off.
Grew up in my later teens with a beagle, still love the second one my parents have now. I recognise all these sounds and it's just the most wholesome thing! What I miss is the absolutely unhinged howl you get when a beagle picks up the scent of a wild animal on a walk.
Okay yes, we've all seen and heard the little pupper say woof/oof with precision and elegance... But that part when he's sleep-barking, so content with his dream of hunting and herding? Pure gold.

Sorry you lost your beagle and best friend. My son got a Beagle a couple of years ago. His name is Eddie. I have gotten as attached to him as one can possibly be. Thing about pets, they don't have the same life expectancy as we do. However, if it has to be this way, then be glad that your life span encompassed her's and remember that it all happened the best way it could have. Hope you found another Beagle. They are among the best to have for a best friend. 🐶🌞

I had a beagle many years ago….and this brings back memories. His howl, sniffing, slurping, beg whining, and especially rabbit chasing in his sleep….kept us laughing constantly. I miss the velvety ears…they were so great.

Sorry you lost your beagle and best friend. My son got a Beagle a couple of years ago. His name is Eddie. I have gotten as attached to him as one can possibly be. Thing about pets, they don't have the same life expectancy as we do. However, if it has to be this way, then be glad that your life span encompassed her's and remember that it all happened the best way it could have. Hope you found another Beagle. They are among the best to have for a best friend. 🐶🌞

I had a beagle many years ago….and this brings back memories. His howl, sniffing, slurping, beg whining, and especially rabbit chasing in his sleep….kept us laughing constantly. I miss the velvety ears…they were so great.

Mine used to run around the garden doing this, everytime you told her off she would bark at you and if you tried to walk up to her to bring her you'd get about 2 meters away and she would run away🙄🤦♀️😂
