- If you would like to maximize your salary in Native Camp, you have to ensure you have lots and lots of REGULAR STUDENTS. The best part of working here is being able to earn 80-104 pesos per 25 minute class. You are on the losing end if you just settle for SUDDEN CLASSES because they only pay php55 for them and these students are often those who give low star ratings.

Make them fall in love with you, that's a wake up call to upgrade your teaching approach, try being bubbly, use props, make your students laugh, be animated and teach sentence patterns and words apart from what's on the lesson :)

I have looked in the Learning Kit and it seems I have a lot of badges if I go by the gold and silver 'tags', but Im unsure if I actually have those or if they are even visible to others. last week i started teaching on native camp and had fully booked classes and sudden classes whenever i go on standby. but now, i have 0 reservations and no sudden classes. What happened? this is so frusterating.
You might have a free tag back then which means your students could book your classes for free. When it expired, the same students who booked previously, no longer wanted to book your classes. Maybe you could re-evaluate your teaching style or think of ways to improve further so you can attract more students.

Just stay on standby and have as many sudden classes as possible. Make sure they have a great experience so they could be your regular students.
sometimes, Native Camp also hides your schedule from students when too many cancellations are made

Hey! Great video. I had an issue with the ratings. I've been teaching on native camp since 4 days and have already taken 25 classes. When i go to the nativecamp waiting page to check my ratings, it shows 0 (meaning that no one has rated me yet). What do you think might be the issue and what could be the solution? Ratings for the week only appear on Sundays :) around11pm if I'm not mistaken

Usually 24 hours. Kaya lang mas matagal na ngayon dahil sa dami ng applicants. Is it still "scoring"

Sudden lessons rarely ever become booked regular students because of the payment discrepancy in NC packages for students avsiling of suddens between NNS & NS's.

Guys please help , I did my demo and I was told I passed by admin Jez on my second time, she gave me a script to memorize and said to call them again, when I did I got a different person who said my demo still need to go for review wat wat Jez is new admin . So my account for two days was just showing that it’s scoring results.. two days later it was saying I failed😭😭 how is this possible, have anyone ever been told they passed by the admin but the account write fail? And afterwards I was blocked out of the system can’t access because they say I failed the demo. Please any info will help me as I’m just disappointed and sad😞
Oh my goodness, this is so unfair, could you try to create an account again so that when you get to speak with someone from System check, you can let them know about the situation :( sadly you have to wait again :( I also heard that happened to other applicants too

And when you started po, how many badges did u have? Is it necessary to have as many badges as you can?
By default you will only have like 5-6 badges. But on my first week, I already got all my badges so I can have more classes. Kapg 10mins lang ang class, 10 mins lang ang paid sayo :) by the minute ang payment

yes po, sobrang daming props when I teach children. ayaw nila yung mejo boring style ng NC in my experience e, when I say boring, yung parang sa learning kit. Kaya lagi ako fully booked sa kids and adults kasi I teach differently

I think the pay is not competent for native speakers, just the same as near-natives, 2-4 US dollars :(

Hey there teacher, I have successfully passed my demo video and I have recorded my introduction video with the examiner on the same day. She said my account would be activated after my video was reviewed. I have been waiting for 5 days now, should I be worried?
It usually takes up to a week for the approval process. You can also send an email via the inquiry tab to follow up 🥰
Beware. Native Camp failed to pay me, closed my account, and then claimed they "cannot pay me because I do not have an account!"
I have filed a complaint with the authorities, but I want to warn everyone I can to avoid dealing with this sleazy company. They break US independent contractor laws by apparently using AI that detects if you are smiling enough (and then pushes a pop-up to tell you to smile), tells you to ask the student's permission to have a sip of water, etc. The pay is extremely low, and less than the minimum wage in the area I am from. Native Camp may steal part of your pay, claiming you cancelled a class when you did not. This is not something I agreed to in my contract. When you try to communicate with them, you get the run-around. There is no phone number to call, so your only recourse is to go to the authorities. If you have been mistreated by Native Camp, please file a complaint. This fraudulent activity must be stopped.
If the students don't come back then it means your aren't good enough. No need to sugar coat it. Some students are polite and some are not.
This is straightforward but actually it's the truth. Though it's always about positive scripting for me LOL If your student doesn't come back it means there are still things you can improve on as a teacher :)

Normally it ought to be a 0 star review. So this company is very biased and managed by extremely racist people. Imagine how they pay people from different nationalities. You pay $2.2 for an hour lesson. This is utter slavery. Paying someone with a bachelor's degree. Why hire someone in the first place. If you are a student on here please know that some of the teachers on this platform are just slaves. Thanks for reading. I will keep writing this untill the management of native camp get a heart and treat teachers as humans.
