Interestingly enough, the YM2164 (an updated revision of the YM2151) ended up being used in the Yamaha FB01 midi module, which saw some use in DOS games
None of them used it very well, considering that this sounds better than pretty much all of them.

great! was the drum also played by YM2151? the drum doesn't sound like YM2151.

that was the ym3012, best known for it's use in late 80s pinball machines.
