I found a pro-x 136” skid in Winnipeg and installed it in my 98 XC700. I had it dialed pretty good and ran a 1.5” cross country track. I ended up selling it.
I got my 01’ classic 600 running today after some new boots but she’s running good cold then bogging backfiring and dying only once it’s warm and throttle is sticking not idling down
I have a question when putting twin pipe or triple pipes on a sled, what should you do to run them safely. I was told to jet up abit and keep checking plugs. Is this correct?
Follow jetting & clutching recommendations as provided by the manufacturer of the pipes. Use that as a base line and dial in from there. Many sleds also require timing changes and different heads to prevent detonation while piped as it increases running compression.
