Are the 01 700 motors ves and non ves also? I'm trying to start racing and I need a 2001 or older sled.Or any recommendations on which sled to pick? Thanks for any help
Bud have you ever tried an Aaeen Single torqued pipe?? The pipe and can are all one piece… I had great luck with those for power and the sound is the best by far
I rocked that era pro chassis back in the day. If you look at my early videos that’s what I rode. Top ends we rebuild every season as preventative maintenance. The QD on pro RMK’s 13+ I had issues with, broke several belts and a drive shaft. After that I stuck to assaults with a chain case, much tougher.
@@AKproXR Me personally I have a 22 khaos 850 155 I love it it’s great now my friend has a 2018 it performs well he’s had no problems he bought it for 5k it had 6k miles but he rebuilt it and was brand new mind you he only did top end and my other friend has a 17 he bought in anc shipped it home no problems those years in my eyes are fine

Did slp make stage kits for the early 2000s 800s? My rmk has a full exhaust and a boost bottle
I never could get my non ves 700 with 40mm to run right anything under wot sounded wrong.
It sounds really nice obviously there is a delay but other than that it sounds

What would you say is a good mountain sled that isn't going to cost a crap ton of money? Are the 2012-15 pro rmk800s any good?
I suggest nothing below 2017 because there chassis is good the feel of the sled is nice and most should go for like 4-5k
