Slow down and move over needs to be aggressively enforced. But the police are too busy worried about window tint.
To be fair anything darker than factor tint without a Doctor's note for a medical condition that prevents the driver from being exposed to direct sunlight is illegal and too many people are tinting so dark they can't even make out what is outside the car on every window which makes then a danger to everyone on the road. Would you rather instead of tickets they tow away their cars to be crushed so the financial reprocussions will be high enough to get the point across to follow the law or not have a vehicle anymore?
Hispanic family!!! My heart goes out to them
A Tesla dash cam shows him road raging and berating another driver prior to ring out physics.
So are they gonna prosecute the trash driver that took his life?
They have first to discover who's the driver
So many distracted drivers that first responders cannot do their jobs. We need a federal rideshare program to get these stupid drivers off our roads. RIP to this young firefighter.
Yes. More government is the answer! Maybe they can grant amnesty to all the illegal 18-30yr old males to drive people around
@@Ian-hd3nydude what. Stop being a cornball
Dying doing what he loved. Saving lives until his last breath. RIP. Please Jesus, watch over and protect all our first responders 🙏🙏🙏
What a shame. Don't lights mean anything. Slow down move over laws. The probation time is scary for parents of these trainees. We pray they are safe every time they leave to respond to a call..most follow all the laws but it doesn't guarantee a safe response for them.
There were no lights
@@Solo-_-.. I thought of that also the firefighter would have used his flashers it he got out of his vehicle. They also would be allowed to drive with them on. Until they get tags for the department and grill or dash warning lights for their vehicles.
The way they phrased it he was driving a personal vehicle and spotted a accident so pulled over. Personal vehicles don't have any light notifying you they are a first responder just the standard hazards every car on the road has and to many drivers are blind to them until it's too late.
@@WolfDShadow I understand why he didn't call the highway porta
Prayers for his family truly sorry for your loss
I’ve always admired the firefighters. While everyone is trying to get out, are running out, they are courageously running in. My condolences to this recruits family. Very sad. 🙏🏻💔
RIP
Keep driving and call 911. Your car is your safety net. There is nothing more dangerous than being out on foot on the freeway. Especially when it’s dark outside.
CHP should have done a better job of controlling (forcing slow down) traffic once they’re on scene, I’m assuming before the fire dept and ambulance get there.
They said he was first on the scene since he happened to drive by and see there had been a accident. The Fire Department is located right there off the freeway so they would have been the first to arrive even if he called 911 when he stopped before any CHP could arrive, maybe Universal City's Sheriff's could have been able assist if they had a car off of the film lot at the time but it still wouldn't be their jurisdiction unless they had been chasing a car up onto the 101.
President I was a firefighter in the Navy
❤ rest in peace .

Right?
Thanks Lord for your salvation
🤔He was a recruit 🤨
Yup.. Why was he a hero again? Would you or i get the same parade if we died the same way?
@@Solo-_-.. No because your job is to comment brainrot on youtube. It'd be a miracle if you even got a service. Everyone would forget you.
@@Solo-_-..died trying to help someone..
@@Solo-_-.. no you wouldn't get the same parade because you are now seeking the attention of being "hero"
@@Solo-_-..and what have you done?
So sad. Lord be with his family, friends and bring comfort and peace to their hearts and minds.🙏🏻
Plot twist, he was road raging and FO.
I kinda thinking about it this story doesn't make sense why would you be in the road if he was helping a accident victim

Our bad! Krla/afn
People drive way to fast.on thr freeway speeding i mean flying like no care in the wordl i hate driving RIP to the fireman
The speed limit there is 55 but the only time I see people going 55 or less through there is when the traffic prevents them from going any faster than that.
Recruit fireman! Not firefighter!
Doesn’t mean they don’t have experience. When I was a “recruit” firefighter, I already had 5 years of call/vol experience and an academy under my belt, holding the title of firefighter. The full time dept didn’t accept my state’s call/vol cert so they sent me back to the “career recruit” academy…but I had plenty of experience before it began it
Even as a recruit they are still a firefighter because they FIGHT FIRES.
Does his family get $?
@matw1x todays words are “couth” and “empathy”.
