Finally, a reactor that doesn't immediately flip about the Roxy and Slyphy scene. Almost every reaction I've seen so far has people using real world morals in a fictional fantasy world.

If this were the real world, the things they say would apply, and I'm pretty sure Sylphie would end up seeing Rudy and Roxy there.
But the world of mushoku is clearly different. if you align it with the real world it is possible, but that happened in the past, when there were many wars, etc.

I really wish people would recognize that this is a fictional tv show and not to take it literally. You can have your own opinions, but don't use that to judge the show.

I love his character growth this season. We see how he was in S1 as a total perve with sex on the brain the whole time. This season we see him experiencing the pains of becoming an adult. Also, the best parts of becoming an adult.

I totally get it from the anime only perspective. The anime does not do the Light Novels justice, but that's just how it is. As for why the anime made it seem like Sylphy is used to the idea of Rudy probably bringing another woman comes from her time with Rudy's family as well as her time aside Ariel. She saw Paul and his relationship with Lilla and Zenith. Even she spent a lot of time with them while Rudy was educating Eris. Then there's Ariel. The anime left a lot of that stuff from the Light Novels. She was surrounded by many nobles that were polygamous. Both noble men with multiple wives and noble women with multiple husbands. Luke Greyrat had an harem of his own which was only very briefly shown in the anime compared to the Light Novels. She had been witness to polygamous relationships ever since she met Rudy's family. It became normal in her eyes over the years.
I just wanted to mention this at the very least as the anime over the past 2 seasons hadn't really done much with this part.
It was normal in her eyes because that's the norm for the world. Millis is the only place that really practices monogamy. Slyphie herself wanted in when she thought her grandma and Rudeus were a thing. This isn't some "woe is Sylphie" moment like a lot of people are thinking.
This is why I read the LN. There is a lot of things left out in the anime. It's the same for other anime as well. Besides, it's fun to see anime only's reactions when you get to that mind blowing point in the manga/Ln.
The anime is great as a supplement to the light novel

The only one that she wouldn't accept is Nanahoshi/Silent Seven Stars.
Not everything has to be explained explicitly, anime is visual medium there's time constraint in anime
Internally, Sylphy was more disappointed that he broke his promise than him taking in a second wife. She had at one point expressed passing bitterness when she remembers he broke that promise sometimes. But some time had passed since then and she reminded herself of all the good that’s happened since then.
That’s not unusual to feel passing bitterness in relationships for a past sin though, it’s not unique to poly relationships or mono relationships.
Sylphy had even said initially she was open to it too, but Rudeus underestimated himself when he made his promise.
I will say, knowing what I know, that Sylphy would have been far more heartbroken if he slept with some random girl. She would feel “wow am I so worthless to you that you sleep with someone random”.
In some poly relationships or open relationships I’ve seen, sometimes someone prefers that their partner is attracted to strangers because they get jealous of emotional bonds.
In other relationships, I’ve seen someone only allow their partner to take on someone they genuinely love, or a mutual friend, for the sole reason that they’d trust them more not to outright steal their partner for themselves. Or they would trust their partner more if they see them satisfied emotionally than risking them having to keep it secret. Thats why she isn’t heartbroken, because the fact that Rudeus still values her is enough, and she no longer sees Roxy as a rival.
Sylphy is most likely the latter, she hates secrets and promises being broken, but values honesty and earnestness.

And Rudy would have kept his promise if paul hadnt died and he wouldnt have broken mentally. People seem to forget the circumstances.
She even said that she would probably have done the same if she was in Roxy's position at the time.
In a previous episode, she told Rudy that she may not be able to conceive a child and if that was the case, he should get a concubine.
On top of all the other factors mentioned, it's akin to saying, "Stop speaking to me so formally. We're friends, talk straight." "I know what I signed up for, this isn't a deal-breaker for me. You're essentially the most based Chad of our world, I loved you from the beginning, I'm lucky to be first among the all the women everyone assumes you're going to be fending off in your life."

Edit: character wise it made sense that she would grow out her hair since Rudy mentioned that it would look good on her. The only thing stopping her was her hatred of her green hair then her disguise as fitz when it turned white.
The only one part I wanted them to not leave out, was how Sylphie actually talked to Norn when she spoke up. Straight told her to shut up.

I watched the show because of harem. I didn't expect to cry a lot 😭😭😭 This would be my top 2 anime just behind Attack on Titan.

If you like good harem anime, I'd recommend 100 girlfriends, it's a comedy, but a really good wholesome harem anime.
Also this is probably the 1st well done Harem/multi wives situation I've ever seen... They actually thought about and went through each characters feelings about the process and made it happen naturally. I'm fairly certain if it didnt make sense the author would have had Sylphie reject it.
So much has happened since the starting in season 1 if you think about it. This is no doubt one of the best animes ever. we've come a long way. It feels nostalgic. Thanks for this reaction video. Keep making more.

Light novel vol 13 is quite boring and the studio can skip many part into 3 episodes, vol 14 and 15 will be legit if they adapted into 9 episodes instread of 8.

Sylphies biggest fear is Rudy disappearing on her or her losing him aka him dying. Sylphie understood that Roxy really had saved him and thats the most important point for her. And she already knew about Roxy already since Rudy was talking about her already. Thats why she was able to accept her like that.
Sylphie also understands what it's like to be 2nd. Back in Ranoa duel with Rudy, Sylphie though Elinalise was Rudy's lover. She was still hopeful that she can have a share of his love.

Rudy did feel both grief and regret when his father died. I'd say he was able to overcome it with Roxy's helping hand, so it was invalidated.

the reunion and discussion of the cheating was bit darker in the light novel if you didn't know in the novel Rudy is lead to believe that Roxy is pregnant by Elinalise and thats why he wanted to marry her and when they have the talk at home during Norns outburst she almost punches her in the stomach and thinking that Roxy is pregnant with his baby he almost attacks Norn
Are you maybe talking about the web novel? Because that with punching Roxy almost in the stomach definitely did not happen in the light novel.

You say ....'He's so lucky that Sylphie is his wife'... in context of accepting Roxy as a second wife,....but it would have had played almost the same way whoever was his first wife that is Eris or Roxy, both of them would have accepted Rudy bring over another woman in their own ways because all these women are deeply in love with Rudy....
nope the author confirmed that it was only Sylphie who Rudeus christened as Goddess of Love. Who allowed them to co-exist at multiple wives. Eris even has a small scene in later light novels where she wishes she was alone Rudeus's wife. And got to keep him all to himself. But begins to think that she is much happier with the other children and roxy and sylphie helping with the housework and helpful advice.

Sylphie knows her husband; more than that she knows his bloodline better than he does. So she's already expecting him to end up with three or more wives. A year before she'd already resolved herself to be the mediator between all his other wives when they get married (though she hadn't even revealed herself to him at the time).
But she does have conditions over whom she'll accept. Generally it's that it's someone Rudeus is in love with and it's someone in love with Rudeus. And that it's not Nanahoshi.

Ah Norn, my least favored character but a necessary one. Thats family for you. I think the reason why slyphie was so accepting of the situation is because she knew that she could not keep rudeus to her self as she has stated. Everyone knows that he is a genius and if they kept him to themselves, he would not be able to grow. He was able to experience different struggles in life with different people and grew from it.
Without Norn Roxy probably would be dead.
Sylphie wanted in when she thought her grandma and Rudeus was a thing. Slyphie was so accepting because polygamy is the norm in MT not monogamy. That's people regularly brought up Millis. Only Millis followers care about monogamy though Zenith and Cliff didn't seem to care all that much in the end. That leaves Norn to be the extremist in the family.

hitogami is the real devil. So the thing is, rudeus from first timeline (future rudeus) comes back to our rudeus' timeline and warns him that hitogami is manipulating him, and before dying (he dies shortly after because the magic he did was time travel, and it was incomplete) he gives a diary to our rudeus. I will talk about diary now.
Rudeus reads the diary from his future self, which described the following events. Roxy became infected with Magic Stone disease, which was identified by Cliff and his Eye of Identification. This can only be healed with God rank detoxification. So, Cliff, Zanoba and Rudeus go to the Holy Kingdom of Milis using teleport magic circles to get the book with God Class Detoxification chants. Unfortunately, this book is within a cathedral that cannot be entered unless you are archbishop level. They decide to steal the book but are caught. Cliff dies during the battle and the magic teleporting circle that they used is destroyed. They also become wanted men in the Milis region. By the time Rudeus and Zanoba arrive home, Roxy was already half crystalized and had died. Elinalise is informed of Cliff's death, and leaves town while heavily pregnant. Rudeus then becomes depressed due to Roxy's death and dependent on alcohol. He begins neglecting Sylphy. Sylphy then leaves with Ariel who has returned to the Kingdom of Asura. Rudeus then decides to chase after Sylphy by following her to Asura. During his travels, he frequently runs into Eris. She is unable to properly express her feeling towards Rudeus and so just hits him. Rudeus discovers that Ariel has returned to Asura in order to gather an army to perform a coup d'etat. This fails however, and so Ariel, Sylphy, and Luke all die.
Rudeus continues to read the diary from his future self, which described the following events. After Sylphy's death, Rudeus spent more time going to brothels. He also frequently ran into Eris, who also was living in Sharia. Rudeus continues to have mixed feelings about Eris. The Milis Church put a bounty on the heads of Rudeus and Zanoba due to their exploits from stealing the God Class detoxification chant book. Zanoba completes his automaton research. He is able to create essentially a robot that looks like Sylphy and acts like her as well. Rudeus ends up destroying this robot. Zanoba ultimately mass produces his robots. Rudeus develops a hatred for Hitogami. He vows to get stronger in order to kill Hitogami. Throughout this process, he loses touch with his family; only Aisha stays in touch. To augment his physical strength, he and Zanoba develop fully body armour similar to his prosthetic hand, which Rudeus can augment with magic to improve his physical strength.
Future Rudeus continues to work on his magic over the years, developing gravity magic, electricity magic, voice magic. However, he becomes a bad person; he would frequently get into arguments, do whatever he wanted, and occasionally raped women. Rudeus continued to run into Eris, and so he begins to falsely suspect that she is affiliated with Hitogami. Rudeus continues to try to gather more information about Hitogami by questioning beings who are long-lived. He ends up trying to speak to Atofe, but ends up fighting her and her imperial guard, including Moore. During the battle, he becomes careless and is saved by Eris, but then she is killed as a result. After Eris' death, Ghyslaine explains to Rudeus that Eris has loved him all this time and had followed him around for this reason. Ghylaine blames Rudeus for Eris' death.
Years pass, and Zanoba dies, killed by the Order of the Temple. Julie, Ginger, and Aisha are killed as well. With this, Rudeus no longer has any living loved ones. There was no mention in the diary of the fate of Lucy, Norn or Lilia. Through his travels, Rudeus discovers the nature of this world, which is that it shaped like a cube, with six sides: Dragon world, Human world, Demon world, Beast world, Ocean world, Sky world. The interior of the die is the Void World, where Hitogami resides. Rudeus learns that in order to travel to the Void World, one must collect the 5 ancient Dragon Race treasures. However, collecting all 5 treasures turns out to be impossible within his lifespan. Rudeus then learns how to travel to the past and he decides to go to the past to correct his mistakes. The diary then ends here.
If Rudy didn't join Paul's rescue party. Roxy will die..Hitogami is avoiding rudeus and Roxy reunites.

Writer could have showed roxy amd rudeus love story better but he chose NTR way. He made rudeus touching a 9 yr old girl chest and panty . And people still defend it.
