I've found that when you're driving a car you can put the heat on high and setting the vents to your feet makes the leather quite flexible
That is so true especially for the winter time
I solved heel blister with a Dr Scholl heel gel pad⊠one that lays flat, this raises the heel to the comfy position. Might work depending on your geometry.
Great tips... Thank you!
Thanks
Great video
Thanks!
thanks so much!!!!!!
you are welcome
Today my very first docâs pair came (1461), I thought I would be dying after 5 min of use and yes, they were so tight for my foot but I took the template off and they were perfect, I wore them all day and no pain disturbed me, I guess itâs because theyâre the Virginia leather and I wore thick socks but it was great
Congrats on your first pair of docs⊠the Virginia leather helped out a lot and the thick socks too.. youâll love them
Wonder balm, both inside and out (at the heel), correct size, bandaid your heel like crazy, and wear either several thin pairs of socks, or a thin and a pair of thick socks and wear them innside at home daily is key!
Definitely⊠how long does it take to dry when you put the wonder balm on the inside
I just rubbed Dubbin wax on my Solovair 8-eye Derby and thatâs it. No bandaids necessary.
@@Fodaydontplay I leave it overnight, the Dubbin wax on my Solovair I mean.
I feel like an anomaly Iâve never had a pair breaking in any of my docs. Might be cause I was used to wearing hockey skates my whole life
Wow.. Iâm sure the skies made your feet stronger thatâs why
Putting mink oil on the inside of the boots and heating them up helps a ton, I broke in my made in England docs in 2 days with that method
How long did it take to dry out after putting them on the inside?
@@Fodaydontplay I just put them on after and walked around, it should be fine as long as you donât drench the inside with the oil but theyâll be bone dry after a night. I just repeated that process till they were comfortable
I read that as "milk oil" holy hell
Yes I broke my Solavair Burgandy rub off shiny 8 holers using Mink oil,a two day soak insideon the leather and massaged extra on the heal counter sitting there watching a movie on the third night!
is it okay if I apply the mink oil on the outside leather? or just only the inside of the boots?
tbh thick socks are useless if you have a perfect fit and it will cause a lot irritation i would know since im still a teen im still growing and i went through 4 pairs!
in 3 years!
atleast my mom can wear my second pair but just walk it'll eventually get less painfull and you'll break them gl
By the right fit. Wear proper socks. Tie then super tight and get walking!
Definitely.. they will mold into your feet
You forgot bandaid, as prevention is key!
@@kilipaki87oritahiti yeah always keep them on you
Can nubuck be broken in quick?
I think you got the term backwards. You don't 'break into' a boot, you break a boot in.
Okay.. it took me hours trying to figure out the perfect terminology
@@FodaydontplayWe knew what you meant, dig your channel. Thanks for all the time you put into creating fun content. đ
So what the content is great we know what he is on about
â@OriginallyKamara I love your video
Haha me on my first day wearing the pisa leather jadons suffering with blisters... i think its gonna take longer than one day. đą
Taking out my insoles made my 9s feel like 9 1/2. No joke.
Really.. I didnât not know that
literally thank you so much for this comment. iâm a 9.5 as well and when i took the insoles out, it was much more spacious!!!!
don't even need to apply heat i just got mine in 96 degree weather lol
Lol.. the boots will be warm enough at that temperature
Does the platform on Bex get flexier through the time?
I little bit but not a lot
@@Fodaydontplay Can it break of over flexing?
I have timbs and i hate it when i have to break it in for an expensive shoes, it should not do that. I felt like when u break in shoes to mold ur feet. Thst shoes is not meant to be for u
I definitely understand what youâre saying,, I do wish we didnât have to break in our boots too
@@Fodaydontplay I own boots from other companies and don't need to break them in. Dunno whats wrong with timberland shoes but they seem.stiff
@@noexcuses5524 prob because you are overpaying for the boots. From my experience with leather, a sign of a good quality is the short amount of time for the break in. My meermin loafers fit like a glove but were a pain in the butt to break in while my allen edmonds were extremely easy.
Do not speed break in dr. Martins! Worn these all my life. Speed breaking messes them up
You are right
Tbh i got smooth leather creepers and yea its a little stiff but i just walked around in them i was fine no pain or discomfort
Your feet need to get walked in . Jokes aside Grab Sandpaper and rub the leather inside in the Sole where the bottom of you Heel is. Thank me later
Oo interesting.. I want to try this
too much work for chinese boots
Lol
why would you even buy garbage like that
Wow really?
Garbage, says the guy wearing Crocs
Terrible shoes and boots, very wide fitting, the boots are even worse, look at the laces when you try and lace them, they pull so close together, truly terrible design and the shape is also terrible.
