Building a Superdetailed Tamiya F-4 Phantom | Model Aircraft #9

Karim Bibi masterfully builds a 1/48 Tamiya F-4B Phantom, No. 61121-all opened up and superdetailed! He opens up one of the engines, weapons, and several avionics bays.
This F-4 Phantom is built as if it is undergoing maintenance functions. The story on this unique Phantom is shared in the video, but essentially, an American Phantom landed on a British Carrier and had its tail overpainted to match British Phantoms while in Malta to avoid political tension.

I remember seeing an airshow with my dad when I was 10 or 12 years old at RAF Alconbury in the UK when we saw Fhantoms and Venoms and a Vampire flying.
I very soon built an Airfix model Fhantom and it became my favourite aircraft for a while.
Sadly I am now 63.

Ce n'était pas une boite TAMIYA, mais j'avais été relativement satisfait de mon travail et paradoxalement de ma peinture camouflage vert et brune.....!!!!!! J'étais tout simplement à des années lumières de cette réalisation là................ FASCINANT........
I remember having ridden a 'Phantom', approximately the same scale, in my younger years........ It was not a TAMIYA box, but I had been relatively satisfied with my work and paradoxically with my painting green and brown camo.....!!!!!! I was quite simply light years away from this realization.... FASCINATING........
