Croatian Mi-24 NATO Hind Build | Model Aircraft #12

- Tomislav Mikojevic brings us this amazing, superdetailed, 1/48 Zvezda Mil Mi-24V Hind. Like several of our previous episodes (Bf-109, F-4, Zlin, etc.) this one is all opened up and superdetailed! He opens up the engines, decals the cockpit, adds rivet decals, and much, much more!
Tom was a soldier in the Croatian Army who personally witnessed this aircraft during the Croatian War of Independence. Seeing it in action inspired him to recreate it in scale.

Nice build Tom! I like it a lot I have good croatians friends. So for my is very interesting to see this Mi-24:in croatian colors. Some decals are little bit transparents to me but nice anyway. Did you use any kind of clear varnish after the use of riveted decals of Eduard?

Tom was a soldier in that war who saw them first hand, so I guess that helped haha. I won't spoil what Tom's next project is, but it's going to even make this one seem like a weekend edition build lol.

From Serbian attacks. In the early 1990s the Eastern Block collapsed, and Sovenia and Croatia declared independence from Yugoslavia. Serbia wanted to reunite Yugoslavia under its terms and attacked Croatia. The war lasted until 1995. Google "Yougoslav Wars" for details.
