- Samsung S23 Unboxing & Initial Impressions this is the new flagship smartphone by Samsung powered by custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC comes with 8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. It comes with a 50MP triple main camera setup and 3x optical Zoom camera and wide angle lens, it has a 3900 mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
This video is in #collab with Samsung India and the smartphone provided to me was from Samsung India but all the thoughts and testing was done independently by me.

Just got my S23 ultra......feels very heavy and thick. Loved the form factor of regular S23, it looks and feels slimmer & manageable
why review Galaxy S23 when there is Galaxy 23+ pre bookings on the market?
I have S22 and now I can't even imagine shifting to big phones. Having this size of compact phones is just a ease. Although I have a little battery issue but that issue has resolved in this one so anyone want to buy it go for it you will never regret.🙏

Two time a day is enough for me that too not full.
I too have the S22 and mostly on mobile data one time to full and the second time to about 30-40%

You’ve got 3 hour 29 minutes SOT and used 2 hour hotspot and ALSO left with 51% battery, which meant you could’ve got 7-8 hours SOT with full battery usage and also 2 hour as hotspot which is very impressive imo 👌🏽

The fact that you remembered to take a screenshot of using 2 hours hotspot after a whole day of work and tension when your dad is in the hospital that shows the dedication u have towards your work. Some more compact phones should be made. S-23, Zenfone 9 and I phone 14 & 14 pro are the ones only available and that's a shame 😔

Hi guys
I need your advice please.
My current Xiaomi (Mi 11 lite) phone is restarting on it's own and sometimes gets switched off. It's not even 2 years old. I will try the service center but i don't have any hopes from them.
If i have to buy a new phone, are there any compact phones (6 inches or less) available at around 15k? Maximum i can stretch till 20k.
Smartphone companies made compact phone a luxury because in or just below mid range segment in India either there are literally just no options for a compact phone and if there any then without even seeing it, i can tell that it would be a crap or atleast far from a value for money type device.

We really need compact midrange phones. Same body, with SD7Gen1 or even SD778+ with camera setup of A53 for 30-35k will be awesome.
Nothing phone 1 is really close. Just maybe a bit too big for your tastes
@@kylebelle246 Yeah, my preferred size is 6”. The nothing is 6.6” which is a little too big, but not that big to justify the price of S23.

I'm using the S22 for last 4 months. The compact dimensions with flagship specs and quality makes it a great buy. The only downside was the battery. It's not terrible and I get around 4-5 hrs of SOT only with mobile data and dual sims. The S23 has just addressed that issue and makes it even more worthy. The thing that nobody tells is S22 or S23 are actually as capable (better sometimes) as compared iphone pro models even though the price is similar to regular iphone models.
But don't Android phones slow down after 2 years?

Just got the s23 ... awesome battery life around 7 Hours of screen on time.
Tell me one thing when you remove all the animation and change home buttons to bar button , now if you swipe for home will you see the animation there ? And like in WhatsApp and meet video call when home button is swiped will it get delayed to display the small preview of the on going video call ?

How is the haptic feedback? How does this compare against the pixel 7?
My base s23 sometimes has loudness problem when watching youtube and other stuff like there are times i have to crank the volume past 70-80 for the phone to be a bit loud. The phone has a max volume of 150 as shown in the volume meter. I have dolby enabled but this is the case. Is it got to do with software or is it solely a fault with my device.
how much storage does the UI occupy? i heard it takes away 60GB? that's crazy?? pl do correct me if im wrong
This just became my favourite minimal smartphone. Love at first sight. Really great design and formfactor. Even bezels are so damn small. Great job Sammy. And great content Ranjit sir.

Love the small phones. Don't like using big bricks as something to carry in my pocket. However, I feel they should have had an even smaller version of this.

I think it's perfect size. Also lightweight. 8GB ram is fine, but we'll see how it will work when new versions of Android are released, Android 14, 15 or 16. It might be bit too less, who knows. At this price point I would like to get 12GB :) Its missing aptX HD codec and UWB functionality. Well, it would be all fine if price would be lower. Also, that screen, 1080p res only. I don't know man, maybe it's not real flagship ;) Maybe its very close to be a flagship. Still I like it very much because of it's form factor.

@@jeetshah6554 I mean now with S23 you can't say that but if we talk about October 2022, when Z9 came out it stood out for me as it was a 5.9 inch flagship, but now S23 kinda outshines with 8+gen2 chip and probably better camera, I am not an expert but yeah till last year Asus Zenfone 9 was the best compact option, which was unfortunately not available in India
Also, Zenfone 9 has 3.5mm jack

Check Realme GT Master Edition. Although 2 years old device but still works good. I have been using it for 1.5 years and it works flawlessly.
Hello sir can you please do a camera comparison between iphone 14, pixel 7, and Galaxy s23. There is not a single video out there .They are just running behind ultra/pro max/pro.

Got the s23. If you have have severe adhd the battrey won't last you long. The LTPO panel doesn't get to do it's thing because I'm constantly swiping up and down. Max sot I got is 6.5 hours

The sot on this device has surprised me!! I've used it with 9.5 hours of sot on a single charge. Used it for hotspot, video calling, youtube, social media, shopping, etc.
Did not play any games but.
What is the point of 7.6 mm thickness they can easily increase thickness 8mm still this will slim and increase the battery mah so that increases overall SOT

This looks to me like the almost perfect phone, except I don,t need that much performance, but the camera is important to me and maybe it,s my screen or something else, but I thought the footage of the camera i really didn,t like, it looks a bit artificial to me (just my opinion) and the video of the selfie cam was very hazy looking. what about the heating issue ? especially, when using camera for a long time. that's always been a dealbreaker for me. I live in Thailand and it's hot as hell out here.
Just use the phone enabling medium power saving mode which limits the cpu to 70%. Sd gen2 @70% will give u more power than u will ever need.

Hi @GeekyRanjit can you shed light on how much free storage we get on the 128GB version? There is reliable reporting that says the Samsung OS and bloatware is about 60GB which means that you get only 68 GB for the user which is terrible in the price segment.That is the real reason for the storage bump at the same price.

It was between OnePlus 11 and S23.
Per booked S23 @58k (incl. exchange value of 9k) at Flipkart bcz of 3 reasons, IP68, wireless charging in my car and Camera.
Camera I think is much sharper and with natural colours than OnePlus 11.
I won’t say anything greater than 6” as compact, 6.1” is sufficiently big, with easily pocketable even inside your shirt’s front pocket.
