Practically smartphone brands should provide atleast 5.8 to 6.2 inches screen which is enough. I hope many brands follow that compact screen culture in future.
Exactly I don't know why every brand is selling 6.5+ it's difficult to get a mid range phone it smaller screen, I do not have any heavy use of phone, only calling, whatsapp and some office apps but I have to spend 70k as I don't like bigger screens.
There should be option small screen option but some like big screeens
But 6.7 is too much 6.5 -6.6 is more than eniugh for content viewing

Using the same since 2 months . Truly compact flagship phone. User experience is truly amazing and the battery life is too good . Surely a next level phone and highly recommendable.
I'm also using the S23 for the last two months and the experience is very good. Great cameras and battery time with 7 to 8 screen time. Which is great with my usage.

@geekyranjit, SMS organizer had to be your most favorite app? I see that on every phone (incl review units) of yours? I installed and loved it too, after your recommendation several years ago. 😀
Using it for a month now... maaaaaan the camera yaaaar !! Out standing it is ! Tiny moster hands down ❤
Hey do you face any blurr issue while taking image of documents with primary camera?!
Bought this yesterday night. Im happy about the purchase. Battery life is similar to what I used to get on Galaxy S20 FE and iPhone 11.
I was more than happy due to the fact that Flipkart gave me an exchange value of Rs 11,500 on Galaxy S8 (64gb) which had screen going green problem. This phone was lying unattended since 2020. Quite happy with the new S23. Really impressed with the battery life and heating issues which I was facing in Galaxy S8.
Can u tell me SAR value
Its not actually 11.5k for galaxy s8...samsung just offers 8k exchange bonus on every phone, i got 11k on my poco f1 with body damage. It's a marketing strategy to sell their products more, not that i hate it...good for us lol
i got 13700 for my 3 year old POCO X2
@@ItsAssassincan you elaborate how to avail this exchange? I got quote of 63k for 256gb

How are you soo good at this.Very professional.Following you since many years not once have i felt anything diminishing in you reviews. Thank you sir.
Watching this on my S23 ❤ .Got this compact beast for 50K as I got a very good exchange offer for 7t that is 17890 Rs offer in the Samsung shopping app +5000 HDFC card offer + Samsung app welcome offer of 2k..Very happy with the purchase.😃

Regarding battery life. What are the settings you are using ? I am getting close to 16 hours that is a huge gap. I use 2 SIMs. Light performance. Adaptive battery on and putting apps to sleep option on.
Watching this in my S23, it's really a fantastic device.
I switched from op 8t to s23 and the experience is very good. Mainly UI is feature rich and cameras get it right most of the times but not all the times. Battery life is better on op but cant compare. It is decent i can say. It feels like a solid iphone in hand.
Signal reception in indoor is good ? Can you share SAR value of S23
I also own op 8t (using it for past 3 years) and thinking of switching to either iPhone (pro model) or S23 or S23 plus, money is not the issue, what is your take on this, should I go with S23 or iPhone pro(maybe 14 pro or 15 pro) ?

Are Samsung Phones (S series) good for long term? Earlier Samsung phones were too bad for long term. They used to hang quite a bit, maybe due to exynos chipsets which Samsung used to opt for. What's the situation now? I'm looking for a phone that can last smooth and fast for next 4-5 years. I've been using iPhone XR for 4 years now, and the phone has held up really well till now. So, should a opt for another iPhone, or go for Samsung?
Just bought the army green 2 weeks back, traded in my s20+ with a faulty screen for 18k, 2k coupon on sam shop, 8k exchange bonus, 5k on hdfc card so I bought this phone (256gb) for 47k. Hope this helps
Looking Ranjit actually happy while reviewing a phone after a long time. Last time was probably during early OnePlus days. Not the current crap...
Hi Ranjit is this going to get cheaper anytime soon maybe in some sale coming online or any other offers being offered by Samsung???
Sir kindly guide should i go for s 23 or iphone 14 at BBD sale?
It is going to be 3rd month with S23 now. Few nitpicks - 1. It doesn't automatically switches between Wifis like my previous "Realme" phone did.
2. Strangely, I am getting white shaky lines at the bottom of text app of Samsung.
++Tends to get hot sometimes but it is Delhi summer, be prepare to struggle if use Screenguard. Otherwise great great phone.
Hows your experience with S23? can you please tell about the battery backup and other features.
Sir can you do any comparison between this phone's camera & pixel 7a ' s camera?
I am also using s23.. Performance is awesome battery is also good(normal usage like fb watsapp camera calls and youtube vidoes)...and handling is awesome like it is a small phone as compared to others in the category but u wont feel it is a small phone.. also brightness is awesome i keep it at adaptive brightness..... i would prefer buy 256gb version.. camera has a lot of features.. call quality is also awesome with speaker as well..
I'm happy to see you again !!!!!❤❤
Thanks Ranjit sir for re-assurance that this is a great phone.
I got this in 59k by exchanging OnePlus 7t + Summer Sale. This was the best decision as I have never purchased a flagship before.
I agree with you that camera overall is very good, esp. photos at night are unbelievably good.
Personally, SOT for me on weekdays is always around 5hrs. Probably due to bit heavy usage i.e 1 hour of small games like Clash Royale and 70-80% I am on 5G.
But like you mentioned, stand-by time on Wifi is so good that I only have to charge next day before I leave for office.
Weekends: I have to charge twice because of heavy gaming + lot of camera usage. I have only spent 2 weekends with this, so views are based on that.
Rest everything is perfect as expected from Samsung Flagship.
From where did you buy it ?

Edit - if you have an iPad then try getting the iPhone 13 or 14
Yeah the screen is small and 256gb is a little expensive but you'll appreciate the seemless ecosystem
Bought the 256Gb variant in April '23 at 56k after exchanging my old phone. The phone has been brilliant so far. Seriously, no complaints. It may be slightly inferior to the P8 in photos but this is the most well-rounded compact flagship. Beats the P8 at literally everything else (and portrait mode too😅).Definitely recommended.
Hows the battery life? How many times do you charge it ina day?
Please update on battery life, I'm also planning to buy
@@shiva-yp6dk The battery life on the S23 is significantly better compared to the S21 and S22. I charge it up to 80% at 9:00 in the morning. Throughout the day at the office, I use it for calls, messages, and watching videos in the afternoon. When I step out of the office, I utilize 5G, while indoors, I switch to Wi-Fi. By the time I reach home in the evening, there is still at least 50% of charge remaining.
Watching it in my S23. I agree with the text board issue since i switched from the legend Galaxy Note 8 and the fast charging is good but could have been better. Apart from it S23 is more than a perfect compact flagship.
How's the battery life?

S23 is the best compact phone right now but the coming pixel 8 is rumoured to be 6.1 inch, need to see how good that phone would be.
Yes! That’s true
I bought the S23+ (8 +256 variant). What a fantastic phone. Finally, after 7 years I finally moved from Oneplus to Samsung and I do not regret it.
How is your experience with battery, camera, heating, vedio quality.. Pls give some information...
Hey do you face any blurr issue while taking image of documents with primary camera?!
Better experience= more money....
Remember how much OnePlus costs and how much this S23 costs without offer? Most of the people doesn't use card or exchange offer..... Actually it's bbk's fault that Samsung increased price.... Bbk is chasing Apple and Samsung but they are moving forward.... Hates off to Apple! They are doing pretty well from 13 series! And Samsung's Fe edition is pretty good.
My last favourite compact smartphone was Samsung S10+, which I still own without any problems.. Whereas my Samsung S21 Ultra started to have green line on the left side of the screen.. I had to exchange the phone with S23.. Now, S23 has become my favourite compact smartphone.
I was waiting for your review to buy this one.
I have it. Buttery smooth performance till date after almost 3 months. Only probable weakness maybe videograhy as I also have the latest IPhone and can see that difference. 😊

I can get 9-10 hours of sot when I'm at home with wifi with light use(CZcams, spotify and social media usage). Really impressive for how compact this is. Weirdly, when I switched the performance profile to light, battery life decreased by around 1-1.30 hours but this appears to be a bug.

Brought one for my wife definitely the best compact smartphone 🔥
I was looking at the s23 online. I was just curious why Samsung has a low exchange value for my older phone compared to, say vivo and Xiaomi flagships. Would you say the additional year of OS update would justify paying a bit higher for the s23? And also heard the 128 gigs is slower with regards to transfers than the 256 gigs
128GB Galaxy S23 uses UFS 3.1 storage, while 256GB version uses UFS 4.0. So yeah 128 GB will be slightly slower if you transfer photos, videos etc.
@@go64bit Yes I was hoping that would have been mentioned in this video. Also I was hoping someone would answer my question regarding the exchange values.

Hi Ranjit
Request you to have a dedicated video on camera performance. I've been using the phone from past 2 months and I'm highly unsatisfied. The images are blurry, there's massive shutter lag, the edges are blurred out like a vga camera. There are several other issues like excessive heating, poor battery backup. The camera was my priority and I feel cheated with several articles floating across the internet pointing out faulty 50mp sensor. Please make a detailed video regarding the issues mentioned above. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Ranjit ji for the review. It is a pity, that we need to spend at least 40K to get hold of a decent spec compact (~6.1") smart phone these days. The options are available are just iPhone and Pixel, which are both premium priced. Funny, isnit?
Volume buttons must be on the other side its much better and also all OEMs must give alert slider its a super useful feature

If I had this phone, I would easily make it last beyond 2 days by putting almost every app in the deep sleep state within the one UI settings. I currently have a samsung F62. It has a flipping 7000mah battery. Just as a fun lil gag, I put almoat every single app on deep sleep state plus completely stopped some of the useless stuff like AI emoji bs and everything and I am beyond amazed on how long this thing can last. Even after 3 yrs of continous heavy use this thing still lasts 3 days straight on a full charge. With the protect battery feature that limits the charge to 85%, its still a whopping 2D and 22hrs of battery backup. Its absolutely crazy.
Hi Ranjit, How are you?
Can you please review the S23+?
I would like to see that and many other people also.

Precise..👌
I have bought all my smartphones till date after watching your detailed review. The same will happen now, purchasing S23 (256GB) for 50k.
Should I buy it now or after 2 months? Will they reduce the price of the phone? As of now they are giving bajaj no cost emi option so I was wondering if they will have the same offer after 2, 3 months?
I was checking the price of S23 (lime) in samsung India website. For trade-in of S22 (8GB/128GB) variant, the exchange offer was coming to 31000 rupees. But for cream color, the exchange price of S22 was showing 39000. Why this price difference of almost 8000? Is it because lime variant is launched just now? Will the price of exchange offer increase, just like the cream color version?
