Thanks for the video. I wish i saw this before i started project with my desk. I bought a wood condiftioner and that shit did not control blutching. I am learning the best way is like you said, is to spray the stain. Thanks!!!
I can see where this would work with a dye stain, but if a pigmented stain and its binding agent are left to dry on the surface without wiping,, wouldn't a "muddy" look result, obscuring the grain?
great little demo, i regularly spray pigmented stains when matching troublesome centre leaves on refinished tables as getting matches with dye colours is not the same and has it's limitations.

Great demo, thanks.
the music before and after was good, love it.

It depends on the customer usually when some one ask for staing cabinets they want to see all the grains

With that kind of spray gun, do you have to use water based or oil based stains and do you have to thin the stain out or not?
Was this shot with a video camera or beta max?
Best comment I've read in a while!
What gun and tip are you using? Thanks
How many layers of stain do you spray on before sanding? Thx.
Where can I buy that attachment?
What brand of stain are you using?

is there no need for a respirator when spraying stain?
+HeyrroPrease Not for this small amount of spraying.
If you are staining an entire project yes a respirator would be advised.
Spray looks a mess
You can't SPRAY because you don't know how to SPRAY.
IF YOU CAN'T DO BY HAND (EASIER) MEANS YOU CANT SPRAYING.
