    For the guys comment that I accidentally deleted. To answer your question: I actually did not have the slide lock lever spring over the slide lock lever lol. I ended up figuring that out and taking it apart to correctly place it over the lever. That’s why the slide was acting finicky at the end. Although when there’s no mag the slide is supposed to lock back automatically.
    Thanks for watching.

    I know about as much of installing a new trigger as someone who's never even picked up a gun before. I'm about to take on this same install and I will be watching the Apex Tactical video at the same time. I'm nervous as hell lol. Gr8 vid. 🔫

      @@JonesiumDesigns It's too late. Trying to remove the pin I destroyed the frame. I know what I did wrong. It was my fault. I sent the damaged gun to FN and they replaced the frame. I didn't know it was still under warranty, but the damage I did was not covered. I'll pick it up on Friday the 20th then I'm giving it to a professional lol.

    Million dollar question would you do it yourself again or send it off to have it done for $75? Not a real confidence builder watching this video lol

      @JonesiumDesigns  Před 4 lety +4

      Well i did the trigger on my AK - 47 prior to this and another trigger on my KP9 (videos for both as well). I rather spend the $75 on ammo and do it myself lol

    Why would you ever use a sledge hammer for working on a pistol?? Thought you were watching their video.

      knocking out pins with a pin puncher requires a hammer stupid.

    I think you were trying to remember Midway USA. That's where I got mine too.

    Did you see a reduced trigger weight? If so are they the original springs in the striker?

    • @JonesiumDesigns
      @JonesiumDesigns  Před 3 lety

      Yes it is reduced. I don’t have an official measuring tool for trigger weight but I can tell by feel. Yes I haven’t changed the striker at all. I do know they have an “upgraded” one but I never bought it.

      Jonesium Designs An Apex striker is a really good idea. The factory ones are known for being pretty fragile and mine broke right after I bought my 509T. Definitely dint dry fire it without snap caps.
