They say the Bible is a book of faith and I have heard it said faith is a collection of the choices we make. Choose to do God’s will. Ask the Father if his teachings were spoken through Jesus? Then turn to Jesus with your sins and abide in him and he will reward you for what you have done in secret. Seek our Father and his Understanding. Ask that his Wisdom lead us in his path of righteousness. Knock bless you Father for blessing us with your Son and name Jesus. Lord God almighty and holy Father of heaven and of earth hallow be thy Son and name Jesus thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven and give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil and the evil one for thyn is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. I woke up thinking about how much we hurt when a loved one passes on who hurts the most and I pondered how much do we hurt the Lord?😢 Enter through the narrow gate.
I just started following you and I must say I have learned so much. I’ve been a Christian all my life since age 8 and I grew up in Sunday school and church. I’ve had different pastors over the years and I must say you are up there with one of my favorites! You teach not preach! I’ve been frustrated with the pastors around here (Houston area) as they are all what I call “ cotton candy” preachers. I used to go to Ed Young at second baptist and although he is a great teacher as well, he is too political around here for me. And extremely wealthy as I may add! But now I go to Pastor Kerry Shook in the Woodlands. But he’s no filling me with what I need, he doesn’t really teach the scriptures. So I found you and along with watching Charles Stanley and following the CZcams page of Answers in Genesis, I filling my mind with the word and YOU are helping me better understand. Thank You.
I now understand how/why the Bible is true and how the prophets operated! This helps me truly believe and appreciate every word!!

Everytime i watch or rewatch, something new is learned. Truly, pastor Allan has a gift.
Very, very good. Pastor Nolan thank you for this thought provoking sermon.Truly, a generation that have no idea of the Biblical teachings and prophesies. I find it sad, and alarming and our own prospective Governments and leaders can take some of the blame. We even have traditional calendars from certain charities that are now removing the word "Christmas" from it, as it would normally appear in December. A generation putting their finger up to God. Social Media and its toxicity and misinformation is to blame in some part. Although social media is used to spread the word of God too., as I listen to this on CZcams. But there is a difference between this, and the nonsesnse that is perpetrated on many online media platforms poisoning the hearts of many youngsters. We really need to get back to grass roots and make Religious Education or "RE" as it used to be called when I went to school, compulsory in schools. I pray that we indeed see the light, and errors of our way, through payer to God to make the changes necessary so that we can find peace, prosperity and life abundant through God and our saviour Jesus Christ. The written Word is the Truth. Thank you for your good work.

I would take the purpose of salvation a step further - it’s not just so we can be saved and go to Heaven. It’s also so that we can carry on the work of Jesus as kings and priests fulfilling the great commission, as well as ruling and reigning with Him.
What an answer to prayer. I have been struggling to piece the Bible together. I was told to listen to Pastor Allen by a family member and wow, what a blessing. I have been asking God to help me understand His word better. Thank you for these teachings.

The explanation of te virgin mary and immaculate conception was mind blowing. Jesus IS. God aint messing around. This miracle i never understood. Thank you Pastor Allen. God is Almighty. Between him and Robert Breaker another awesome teacher. His series on how to navigate the Bible . They are both awesome teachers.
Hey Pastor Nolan. Have to say I've never heard such clear and thorough teaching. Once I start a series its hard to put away. I've recently finished your teachings on Revelation and Isaiah 53.
You probably didn't have time to fully discuss God's word through the Prophets and how it came to be in the old and new testaments.
But, something you said here leads me to have a question.
If the Prophet submitted his scroll and the writings were held until proven true and then added to the Bible, how is it that the messianic prophecies in Isaiah 53 and end times prophecies in Revelation came to be added? Is it because they were a proven Prophet sent by God with his word on so many other occasions that everything they said was a prophecy was taken as "gospel " fact?

Hi, so far I have found nothing in the Bible about the 'Rapture' ? Have you and where is it? ❤
The word rapture means caught up or second coming. Try Thes.4:17. Matt 24:42. I am sure there is more but hopefully that helps answer your question.
What about the other books included in the Catholic or Orthodox or Ethiopian bible? How should we view those books?

This is excellent teaching! I would caution Pastor one thing: and that is the word race 42:53 no longer means the same thing in our culture. I recommend you switch out the word race in this excellent teaching, with ETHNICITY when referring to the Jews
Ok I got it Thank you. So only the original manucripts were God's Word and the Transcripts which are the Revised Bibles, they don't have the true Words of God.
If you compare them to the septuigent some are closer than others like the kjv or esv

So which Bible should we be reading ? there are so many translations... I know King James is known to be the most accurate? But how about which Bible from Tyndale? Holman? Nelson?? Etc

I did not understand Ezekiel 13:9 with your translation but looked it up in king James and it was easier to understand. You may need to explain other translations when showing scripture for your listeners to follow along because yours is somewhat difficult to interpret and people might not get it. FYI

the publishers of your version should beware of revelation 22:18 & 19: it is written:
18 For I testifie vnto euery man that heareth the wordes of the prophesie of this booke, If any man shal adde vnto these things, God shall adde vnto him the plagues, that are written in this booke.
19 And if any man shall take away from the wordes of the booke of this prophesie, God shal take away his part out of the booke of life, and out of the holy citie, and from the things which are written in this booke.
I do not find that luke went into an open eyed trance. I thought he was a historian.
Okay now I’m confused. When you got to the end you were talking about the different styles of writing and how some are easier than others because the apostle chose a certain word, but you just spent a hour saying all the words came from God?…. PLEASE EXPLAIN
I think many people choose to maybe not think every word of the Bible is from God because of the politics of the Catholic Church and the fact that they were the ones who did the translations and choose which books were canonized. I heard many people say this. Some don’t understand for instance that the book of Enoch is not in the Bible because it’s not inspired by God. Many want to believe things like the other gospels found. Like gospel of Judas, Enoch and I think there’s one of Mary? I haven’t read those so I’m not sure if they are good to read or should I stay away.

Yes, but blood is one of the few body fluids that come from the Father. Jesus' blood was untainted.
I don't understand why you did not mention the blood. With out the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. I guess that is a different sermon.
Pastor is definitely more than intelligent enough to put himself in world of those living in ancient Biblical times but doesn't always do that. Like the rest of us, huh.
