Isaiah 46:9-10 the NLT is an abomination of a paraphrase distorting what the Bible says. Check it out in the NET Bible, much better: 9 Remember what I accomplished in antiquity. Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand[t] what has not yet occurred; who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire;’ 11 who summons an eagle from the east from a distant land, one who carries out my plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out. Note this is not a knowledge claim, it is a power claim. God states what will happen in the future then actively brings it to pass.

God is in the past, present, and future all at once. At statement not found in the Bible but is found in pagan Greek Philosophy. In John 8:58 Jesus simply repeated God identifying himself in Exodus 3:14. Jesus is claiming to be the God of the Old Testament, which He is. To say that Jesus is also claiming to be existing at both times is a huge stretch and a classic example of eisegesis. If Jesus really was multi-present throughout time, he wouldn't have been a man, and His sacrifice would have been useless for humans. God inhabits eternity. The idea of God existing at all times at once, again, is not found in the Bible, nor believed by the ancient Jews of the OT. If you look at modern Bibles, they are split between interpreting this as God living forever or God inhabiting forever. The Hebrew text simply does not demand a God living in time simultaneous. In fact, the Bible makes it very clear He does not. We have no clue what existed before the creation of our Universe. And we know that not all things were created: John 1:3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. This verse implies there are some things that were not made. I submit these things are part of basic reality, of which time is one. In man's attempt to glorify God by ascribing various nice sounding characteristics to Him. We end up putting Him in a box. Yes, a shiny box, but a box none the less. For example, a God that exists outside of time or in all time at once cannot think. To think requires new data, processing that data, and coming up with new knowledge. A timeless God cannot do this, hence a timeless God cannot think. That's hardly the God of the Bible. That would make God not even a person, but some sort of "it." Jude 1:25. Nice try, but the Greek words are 'ages,' not time. "eon" is used, not 'chronos.' A past and future succession of ages implies, you guessed it, a linear flow of time. 1 Timothy 1:9. There is that pesky word eon. So God promised our redemption before the time of ages. This implies there were actually several ages in the past. Which only makes sense for there will be many ages in the future, Ephes. 2:7. The Greek in 1 Timothy 1:9 allows that this grace was granted ages ago. Very interesting how God plans ages and even what will happen in future ages. Titus 1:2 Same words as 1 Timothy 1:9. Note how Pastor Nolan skipped from the NLT to the NIV here since the NLT translates it like I do.

I have no problem with you Pastor Nolan, stating or revealing the truth of the Bible that homosexuality is a PERVERSION. I want & need to hear & know the truth and only the truth per the Bible. So I thank you Pastor Nolan for not trying to sugar coating politically incorrect statements, phrases and/or words.

I LOVE THIS ! I am literally the offspring of David Schoenly my Dad who was born in Bethlehem PA ! I always loved this and I was born with a spirit of love and truth to SERVE. But when I was Baptized 34 yrs ago my service went TURBO ! Through the truth of Coral Ridge Ministries who exposed partial birth abortion (which we worked to keep illegal) and I took off with diagrams of it to give to the biggest church's in Ocala. The Exodus program stood to lead homosexuals out of sin and the Yes I Believe in God program was designed to give school children the ability to exercise their God given rights to worship God in school. And I taught the Yellow Dyno Child Safety Program and became an approved Vendor in the Marion County School System to teach children about Tricky People and what to do "when the Devil " is near. Father God orders our steps and the hugs I received at the time made it all worth it. Praise God who has given me a new mission called " Jesus cares " and I pray he will allow this light of HIS to shine through me as well.

Well now, what do you do with what Paul said then in 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10 and especially in verses 6-7? For he very clearly tells the church of Thessalonians who if there were to be a pre trib rapture would certainly be raptured in it being they are already the church before the tribulation, that they would receive their rest and relief from their tribulation when, when, when Jesus is revealed from heaven (seen by all eye) in blazing fire (bringing the wrath of God) upon the wicked who still don't know God? Or what about what Paul reveals also in his whole chapter about the resurrection and rapture and the judgments being poured out in 1 Corinthians 15:22-26 and picking back up with the same in verses 51-58? For what do you think Paul was even talking about when he said in verse 26, "the last enemy to be destroyed will be death"? You need to think about this, for the reason why believers will die physically is because although sin his removed from their inner man at their conversion to God through Christ, they still have theirs and God's enemy of sin abiding in their flesh and Paul says all enemies will be destroyed and that death will be the last enemy destroyed. For we see, that in order for God to be able to rapture alive those who are still alive and waiting for Christ's return, is by first destroying the enemy of their sin in their flesh and then after this, death will also be destroyed so that they will no longer have to die phsycially.

Has heaven been a holding place for 2000 years then?

I appreciate a good Sunday sermon but when I want to learn and be taught the bible Pastor Allen is always my go to teacher.

I believe Jesus could have appeared to his disciples as a mortal man through locked doors , he didn't take on extra supernatural powers , he had them throughout his life .

Why do you call passion Week after a pagan godess, and celebrate it on a different date. Is it not an abomination celebrating Resurrection of Jesus on a pagan festival.

I know God will delight us with what he has in store, but from my fleshly perspective here on this side of things, I just can't get excited about being stuffed into an overly lit cube-shaped Death Star apartment building. I long for rivers and forests and oceans and bonfires with friends at a lake side cabin while watching the sun go down. But whatever he provides, as long as we're with him I'm trusting we'll find joy in it. But it's just so hard to imagine giving up the beauty of creation.

Well, Pastor Allen Nolan, I think you know quite well now. I know you even more now as well. I thank GOD because of you I am know GOD so much more. But it is not just GOD, is also JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT. And I am learning the bible way so much better. Please understand Pastor, that I listen to other pastors. But I base all things on GOD, the bible, and what you have taught. Then I try my best to share it with the people I know. I pray, that you will keep teaching until JESUS return. Better read the label on those "anti-depressants", Zoloft states if you go without this your thoughts of suicide will likely increase. I would recommend some natural method that God has given us rather than some man made method that can be worse. Remember, big pharma doesn't want to cure you they want to milk you.
