Who were the random people that didn't need an introduction? Lol
Reaper ❤
Oh yes! I'm a Reaper user through and through!
YES! Been a Reaper user for more than ten years.
Yeesss mannn
Yep. Reaper.
Reaper any day any time.
The one Cubase homie with the shocked look ..... You da truth dogg
I love working in Studio One
The best DAW is the one that let's you make your music in a way that works for you!
For me, that's FL, for others it may be something completely different! And that's cool!
Learn how to bridge.... then youll stop the stupid Daws wars..
Good answer!
the thing about fl studio is that it is really good in a specific workflow which would be electronic beatmaking, as soon as you go into recording, using devices, live sets and mastering it isn't that good, also I can't stand the ui but that's me lol
@@ruzco4873 To be honest I've found recording super straightforward, same with mastering. On devices I just have my MIDI controllers and audio interface and haven't had any issues there.
Its performance mode does seem pretty inferior compared to Ableton, but it's not something I make use of so I'm not overly fussed on that front.
But I definitely see that DAWs do tend to differ quite a bit in their workflow, so it can be hard to adjust to a new one if you're used to something different. For me, FL was the first one that I properly dove deep into so I'm sure if I tried jumping to Ableton/Logic/StudioOne etc., i'd feel completely lost!
@@ruzco4873 yup definitely you..
So many people go to events like this just for channel content. Your genuine love, joy, excitement and appreciation of being where you're happy shines like a beacon!
I truly appreciate that. I'm so lucky to be able to attend NAMM...I don't take a second of it for granted.
🙏🏽🥳🙏🏽 Thank you!!! We want to share the experience with you all! This is special stuff and exciting and glad you enjoy it!
What a show, just incredible stuff at NAMM! Wish I could have been there in person. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of all the fun you had!
Every daw is unique..the best one is which inspires you and you are comfortable with
💗💗
working on Audio Books and Music so Reaper is the only thing that keeps me sane!!! Every Feature I want, i can create myself if it isn't already built in!
I started on tape, later entered DAW world on Logic, got a studio job moved to ProTools, now being independent I'm loving Ableton Live!!!!!
One of the best videos of Namm 2024 I saw!! Great work Sanjay!
this is the first NAMM video I've liked. Great job. You made sense of all the chaos, and the DAW question was a great concurrent story line. I'm subscribing.
Thank you, Sanjay and Dharti!! So grateful to you both for showing us NAMM. We’re only an hour away in Los Angeles but have never been. Hope to be there in 2025!
We use Logic Pro!
🥳 thank you!! Will look forward to meeting you one day!!!
Hi Sanjay and Dharti!
Hope you guys are doing great at NAMM!
Love the coverage!!!
Many great products revealed at NAMM this year and great to see some of them showcased in the first part video!
DAW wise, my main one is Ableton, and I'm starting to play around with Bigwig 5.1, really liking it!
Can't wait to see the second one!
PD: I'll have to get the DT-770 Pro X LE when they come out!! 😁
Great vídeo, thanks to both of you for showing us all the goodies at NAMM 2024!
🙏🏽🎶🎉 Thank you so much for watching! We hope you enjoyed it!
Been waiting for this one - thanks Sanjay C!
Thank you!❤
That was awesome Namm visit dude. The whole video was amazing. Loved it.
Yes!!! Mitch Studio One.
Love the video !! 🔥🔥
Fantastic walkthrough!! Thanks Sanjay and Dharti:)
🙏🏽🙏🏽💗 Thank you!!!!
Awesome! Hope to visit Namm one day...
Great content and very informative. Well done.
Much appreciated!
Studio One is the best. Easiest to learn. Workflow is outstanding.
Oh yeeeesss
Underrated
Studio One is awesome!
I use Studio One and A bit of Bitwig. Studio One definitely easy and powerful. And top notch mixing. But Bitwig is best for synth nerds.
S1 Definitely has the best workflow but Reaper destroys them all in CPU efficiency.
Also Reaper boDy sLams the competition in RTP-MIDI setups. Using Mio XM 12 to run 2 Win 11 PCs simultaneously using my MPD 32 as the primary transport controller and the Arturia KeyLab 61 MKII as my midi controller. Reaper allows MIDI/MMC control to run flawlessly.
The other DAWS are like
‘You wanna do what now?’
😂
Love it!
As someone with ADHD, the UI of Bitwig is the most intuitive and stimulating DAW for me. The fact that the help is interactive so you can play with the elements live as you learn them is awesome.
Also shout out to Serato Studio for loop based composition.
Fellow ADHD person (I watch CZcams documentaries I'm producing) Ableton gives me that dopamine hit!
You both got adhd? Me too 😱
Haha, I'm joking of course. Shit is the most over-diagnosed shit ever.
For DAW - I use, and like, Reaper
Great video!!
Heyy heyy!! 🎉🥳 And you're in it! So glad to have met you! You've got such an great energy!
Really great video, thanks for putting this together. Have not been to NAMM for years and was expecting to hear everyone talking about "AI", it was refreshing that it still seems to be for musicians 💪🏾
Thank you for another great NAMM video! Mackie kind of surprised me, here. Nice work!
After having experienced just about every DAW, Logic Pro is the best, followed by Studio One. However, I am currently using Reaper and started with FL when it was Fruityloops. They are all great, for the most part. Even Mixcraft is beginning to impress me a bit.
Amazing content as always ❤
Cubase !!! There is no other way :D
Happy Sunday SanJay!!!
Awesome interviews.
Loved the BrownBox segment.
Good music can come out from any daw, just depends on knowledge, creativity, passion and love for music.. Thanks guys for providing lots of new info on exceptional gadgets ❤❤❤
Such a wonderful video 💯💯💯❤️
Lol not the DAW wars. I like it in fun but there isn't one. I'm grateful we have so many great options and creatives can find one to make their own unique art with/in
Thanks SanJay. Wanna see the rare finds of the show.. hope too see them in your next video...
Great meeting you both!!! Grateful to be apart of this vlog
🎉🙌🏽🙌🏽🎶 We loved meeting you!!! Amazing job performing too! You're so nice and talented!
Oh dang! I’m in the video! Great meeting you guys at the show.
Same man!
I appreciate this tour Sanjay, I can't be there because am in the carribbean but glad u made video like this every year. Thanks Sanjay and wife.
So nice of you.
hope you enjoyed the sun and relaxation 🏝️
Yes our climate is like heaven there is a good balance of everything, we have much to give god thanks for.
Genial reportaje felicidades
Nicely covered 👍🏾
Best NAMM Video... Enjoyed !!
🎶🎉🙏🏽 Thank youuuu!
The best DAW is the one that will get you to make music you love 😉
That said, I use Cubase and WaveLab. I started with Cool Edit Pro 2/Audition. I have mad respect for Bitwig, Live, Logic, Reaper, Studio One and Waveform.
Very cool vlog! Thanks for the inside look. 👀🫡💎💯
Thanks for watching!
Nice & Thanks :)
Studio One!
Love your content Sanjay! But I'm deeply sad for the little love REAPER gets, to me is the best DAW by far. The community behind it is just incredible, always willing to help and report issues, and most important, THE ISSUES GET FIXED! They do listen to their audience.
The most underrated DAW
Abelton
@@nicolask.5134 I started with Adobe Audition until I was unable to find solutions to my issues. Then Pro Tools until my ilok (a ridiculous feature) affected my work flow, and finally Logic, which has the most awful support section (specially when you buy new gear and you want to troubleshoot). REAPER has never had any issues with me, the support i refer to is asking the community how to automate features or how to get an old interface to work properly. Those experiences can't be had with any other DAW.
@@nicolask.5134 What are the issues again? Can't remember the last time I've had an issue or crash
I enjoyed this episode .thanks
CuBase, personally, I find it very user friendly and I've tried a few others.
I Cu-basically agree
Same. Have used it since the 90’s. Tried others but keep coming back to Cubase
Ableton Live because I’m used to it and it’s just easy to get around. Flexibility of session and arrangement view are awesome and also folder management. Favorite folders are great but I wish there was a few more. It’s not at all pretty but it’s functional. I usually track with Luna and then mix and in Ableton or jot down ideas quickly. Beforehand it was Reaper which was great. I’ve used Logic which is also very good and the more time you spend with a daw the better you become with it. So I don’t know if it’s the best but it works!!! Pro tools I have used but I have never become comfortable with it
Thank you for this video. It was such a showcase of wonderful tech and people from all ages and backgrounds drawn together by the love of creating music and creating things to help others create. So moving.
And what is the best DAW? The one that works for you (for me, it's Reaper).
They just look so happy to Be there. Studio One We out here ❤ holy Mackie coming in hot 🔥
I'm stoked about all of them, lol. I need the Grandstage to be ready as well. The 7 engines is going to be EPIC.
Yeah, it was very impressive!
Great video! Thanks for stopping to give me an interview again! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Studio one baby!!
Bitwig is my favorite Daw. Thanks for showing us a lot of the new products at NAMM!
FL Studio people don't go to NAMM?
Perhaps it''s not a serious product 😂😂😂
@@luthandoheshu984 Maybe you don't mean it either. It's not worthy of you. But who cares. I'll laugh at you when you've paid ten times for the same DAW, and I've only had to pay once. Because some people don't have a rip off business policy, but Image Line Software doesn't even operate in the US.
NAMM is ultimately a place to talk and show stuff to store owners and dealers, and it costs quite a bit to get a stand there. If you’re mostly selling directly to your users (and why get it from a store when you can just order it straightaway from the website?) there is little benefit to go to there.
@@robjanssen7420because there is no substitute for touching things. . .not to mention social interaction.
Lies Fl reps are there how producers use fl and winning grammys I intern for star wars production they use fl try again go name for what every yr like somethings new out. Lmao😅
omg.... all these music gears are treasure to me lol. I love it 😊
Nice video, thanks. Was attendance at this NAMM finally back to where it was before COVID ?
OmG! That Korg PS300...... Im like drooling over it....
Talk to your banker soon.
Studio One! Hands down.
This is the most enjoyable video I have seen yet from Namm 2024. Thanks.
Thanks so much!!
woo hooo!!! 🥳🙏🏽💗🙌🏽🎉
Best daw.. studio one .. I choose you
Wow! Bob Clearmountain spotting! Lol! :)
Studio One - Presonus
Logic and Cubase!! 🔥
Nice, Thanks!! (I think I spotted Bob Clearmountain @ 11.17min)
Thanks Sanjay and Dharti - your voices are holding up pretty good on the first video, let's see the second one : )
Hahah😂😂 we definitely were losing our voices the next day, after so much talking and all! 😅
Interesting, more interesting, most interesting… this NAMM-report of yours and Dhartie‘s. So many new and interesting products. The Lesound booth e. g. is sth. I‘d like to have …, really, but of course many other products as well (but couldn’t afford. 😒), like Studiologic, Beyerdynamic, and many more.
And I have to answer your question. Although I know you‘re the much better musician than me and you’re an Ableton user, I must say that Logic is my DAW of choice for various reasons and never ever I‘d swap it with another one although I don’t know too much of the other ones.
Looking forward to further NAMM videos of yours …
Studio One 6, for sure! 🙂
I saw you at NAMM yesterday!
+1 for Studio One
Great vid! I started on C-LAB Notator SL on Atari STE, whilst dodging frequent sabre-toothed tiger and mammoth incursions.
Today I compose/edit/capture in Ableton with RX on sample editing duty, then I mix in Logic. This affords me super efficient use of what little time humanity has left! Cubase is alright.
A Tascam 80-8 half inch reel to reel with Alesis 1622 mixer and Midiverb lll did the business. Luckily the EPS16+ sounded fantastic (at any sample rate) which made up for the Midiverb.
Hi love the video you're showing things others haven't. By the way what microphone / recorder are you using?
DJI Osmo mic and then processed with Waves Clarity
I started with Reason 2, then I switched to Ableton Live, then to Cubase. When i got a presonus audio interface with Studio One Artist, I liked it. Since then, it's my main DAW. I gotta say, Studio One as best DAW
Oh my god, the Wurlitzer sign 🤩 sleeper hit of NAMM??
My DAW of choice is Mixbus 32c I was a Logic Pro user a few years ago. Enjoy the rest of your time at NAMM 2024
Your wife’s reaction to the theremin was great honestly.
My goodness that Korg Stage is AMAZING!!!!
I’m trying to hold out for Roland to update their RD-2000.
Come on Roland it’s long over due please please pretty please update/refresh that amazing Roland RD-2000
Since watching Stu from Merriam Pianos demo that amazing monster I can’t wait to get a newer version.
Best DAW- Logic Pro X, and nice job at NAMM 2024. The voltage meeter lady was definitely different. I need that. Then the Barefoot Speaker system. And the Slate MTI Max, that's incredible.
Wow Sanjay your audio sounds AMAZING!!!!!
What were you using?
Such an honor meeting you guys from a producer to another keep putting in the work that you do and the content you create
logic and fl and ableton i use all of them
PreSonus Studio One All the Way Baby! 🙌
My favorite of all time REASON! All the way ❤
Dharti, you MUST get that egg chair. It matched your dress! And it looked so comfy. ❤
😂🎉 Tiffany!!! Right?! It was sooo soft and cozy like a hug and sound was amazing in there! Hopefully we can make a video on it if they help us out! 🤞🏽
Thank you Sanjay - this was like visiting NAMM but much less walking
😂🤣🤣 Hope you got a little rest 🧘🏽♀️ 🧘🏾♂️
Studio One
As far as the best DAW? The one you use. To humor the conversation. Out of all the DAWs I have used in the last 24 years. I have to say Studio One. I have been using Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reason, Ableton Live, Digital Performer FL Studio. I started using Studio One when it was at version 3. Then I fell off of it. I came back to it around version 5. I never looked back.
Funny you ain't mention the best one
@@ET2carbon Funny I did. Studio One.
@@ET2carbonexactly. Bitwig
Nice sweater by the way. Cassandra for president!! What a ledge!!
As someone who loves sound design and building synths, bitwig us my goto DAW. The workflow is beautiful and the depth of design with the various grids is amazing.
Bello/Linda.🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️
Best DAW: FL STUDIOS. Most popular DAW: ABLETON.
I love studio one :)
I used cue bass..it very complicated at the beginning but you will soon get used to it..its has all you will ever need!!
Studio One The God of All Daws!
I like FL studio :)
I agree! Awesome, former Logic user and dabled In Pro Tools, Ableton and few others.
Beautifull❤
