@@mysticalmarowak2493 i think the biggest problem is the fact that every kid with a newly aquired drivers license and a couple of bucks can get his hands on a mustang and it's just too much power for them to handle......you can't just floor the damn thing. Here in europe where muscle cars in general are quite hard and expensive to come by you don't really see a single one crashing since they are mostly owned by old people who bought it as a weekend cruiser.

The reliability and resale value of German cars are horrendous. You can buy them for a fraction of their original cost after a few years mainly because they are just money pits. It largely depends if you where trying to keep up with maintenance and/or if you were it's first owner. The problem with japanese sport cars is that they ALWAYS get beat on by it's first or second owner, the third one always pays the price for the damage left by previous owners.
This kinda applies to any sport car, but the Japanese ones are the cheapest by miles, so of course they are that much more attainable to those who don't know how to care them properly (aka, young drivers).
Challenger R/T owner btw, just to make that clear.

@@DJAizakku I bought a Nissan 370 Z in 2009 brand new. I was the first owner of the car gave me nothing but problems. I never beat on it or ran it hard I just took it to and from work that was it. It would turn off , the car would shake , an axle broke randomly , when you turn it on it will turn off I would have to turn it on and then rev it to keep it tuned on which is ridiculous 🤣🤣. I kept up with all my maintenance I was so strict on making sure all my the maintenance & recommendations were done. And still problems . The steering wheel would lock randomly and I would have to get it towed to the dealer. Like it was a headache. Like sure I got compliments because the car looked nice but that was it...it just looked nice and it wasn’t really that fast to be honest the power is very weak. I ended up trading it in 2018 for a brand new dodge challenger scat pack and I’ve never had any issues with my scat pack best decision I ever made.

I'm not too hip on hairdryers and plumbing (turbos) cramped into that small engine space, and that 3.8 or 4.0 fine-tuned _naturally aspirated_ engine is an excellent choice @ 500+ HP, and I would prefer the touring version with more creature comforts with the auto "whale tail" because a good paved road is fine enough for me!
