Rebuilding my WRECKED 1991 Nissan Hardbody Mini-truck

  • My father bought this truck BRAND NEW in 1991 off the show room floor of a Nissan dealership and I managed to wreck the truck 31 years later. It very much has sentimental value to our family as he and my uncle would travel the southwest going to lowrider car shows. My dad wasn’t big on “showing” at shows so it only feels right to rebuild the truck with parts from my beloved 1997 and not only travel to shows together but to win car shows across the southwest. Like, comment and SUBSCRIBE! Got big ideas for this truck! Got some boxes from cxracing with more on the way along with needed parts from Mishimoto! Stay tuned! THANKS FOR 500 SUBSCRIBERS!

    Good job Edward! I know the struggle of going to many different places to find that one part.

    Like the idea of keeping the fender aprons & core support as one. Was gonna drill them apart on the donor but realized this way keeps the entire assembly factory aligned.

      The orange painted panels I got from another truck I had. Wrecked two trucks, used the orange truck to rebuild the white truck. Videos on my channel! Thanks for watching!

      I have no idea man. Look for a local shop to repair your cluster or try a different cluster.

      It’s spot welded on. Drill out the spot welds, smack it off with a hammer. I believe it’s in the video

    I wish people would stop putting these over sized wheels and tires on these little truck. They look stupid looking and they don't help with the original design intended for these nice small trucks.

    • @Aldama5523
      @Aldama5523  Před rokem

      It’s not my favorite fitment but it’s period correct. These wheels are from 1991. Old school shit. It’s not for everyone. Especially with todays standards of trying to be “hella flush” fitment. Thanks for watching.

      @@Aldama5523 I kinda like the way the factory wheels and tires are when you purchase the truck from the Nissan Dealership. Not to be offensive to anyone out there, however this is something a colored guy would go nutts over thos over sized wheels and tires or wagon wheels and thin tires which lok totally silly looking alyong with dangerous looking. They simply just don't at all appel to me. OK I'm conservative, I'll admit it, however there's a 4 jvmgoeeod reason as to why a vehicle with 14 or 15 inch wheels and tires are on it, the edesigners new best when they designed it, and it also was ment for the average working man to use his truck for practical purposes and day to day driving, and hauling reasons and purposes.
