2022 Icebear Maddog Gen V: Rolling Wrench ProBld Pulsar Unit E-Fuel Pump, AFR Wideband Install pt.2
Today we’re upgrading the scooters most insufficient system. The fuel system. The factory vacuum fuel pumps cannot keep up with fuel demand at wide open throttle and we begin the sputtering and engine stalls mid-ride and in traffic coming to a stop. It’s absolutely annoying and we are deleting the vacuum pump altogether with Rolling Wenches Electric Fuel Pump Conversion kit. We will now be able to meet the demands of the carburetor and cruise at wide open throttle! With this fuel upgrade I wanted to get a perfect tune on our carburetor so installed an air/fuel ratio gauge from Rolling Wrench to measure our air/fuel mixture the carburetor is producing. I didn’t want to take to much of your time and made the video into two parts. The fuel pump install was last week and the AFR install this week so be sure to go back and watch part one. My factory radiator cracked and we went with an Amazon aluminum radiator to help prevent cracking again! Super easy install and with the temperature being so hot we got this install done quickly. Nice video and i was wanting to add a turbo, but this is the first time i see an engine blowing. Why do you think it blew? Did the motor have lots of use or was it driven harder then normal?

What kind of paint did you use ? And did you have to sand the rims down ? Or just straight on painted
Rustoleum 2x ultra cover gloss white. And didn’t bother with prep work. This paint lays down pretty good and it’s durable. Still looks great.

How are these holding up? Are the fans powerful enough to keep it cool with the ac on? What temp does it idle at or stay around when driving ?
Works perfect. Temps stays in the middle of the gauge and I don’t have AC but it will be fine if I did. Two fans are better than one.

I was told not to push it past 10 psi on stock.
Yeah. I had a 7lbs spring in the waste gate but my engine still blew. Seems like everyone has been saying it can handle low boost but mine couldn’t.

It’s definitely possible. Big bore kit to 171cc and final drive gearing are still options to make 65ish mph, maybe. It goes 55 right now and I love it. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Much appreciated of your time bro.

People buy the 49cc cause you need no license. Your 150cc comes licensed as a 150cc and you need a motorcycle endorcement in most states.

@@itsflaves sorry I read it wrong. It will not. You probably have a 139QMB engine. The 150cc I have is a 157QMJ engine code. Your engine code will be stamped on the side of the engine and use that code to make sure you’re buying the right parts that fit.

@@itsflaves first verify which engine you have. Then learn the names of the parts you want to change out. The front pulley is called a drive face behind that is called a variator. And the second pulley towards the rear is called a Clutch bell. Some companies sell these as a kit.(drive face/clutch bell kit) And brace that surrounds both pulleys is called an ankle biter kit. Check out websites like ncystore.com or rollingwrenchdenver.com. Hope that helps. I do include links to all my parts I buy in the descriptions of all my videos.

Did you change the oil the very 1st day you bought it or did you keep the manufacturer oil in it?
Yup. Original oil. First oil change at 300 then 600 and every 1000 miles after that. Runs great. Some people say you should change it right out the box. I didn’t.
