Mpj is on the right team. He keeps the floor open for the rest of the team. It works for everyone. Assist are important but that is not what the nuggets need him for. He has improved his rebounder ding and defense which is way more important for the team

Ball hogs don't make good teammates. Ever...
MPJ isn't a "ball hog", he is a play finisher, if he gets the ball it's probably because Denver wants him to shoot, he is a fantastic shooter and a pretty good finisher, and he has the green light and his confidence is something that helps the Nuggets, so it works out, and him being a good shooter has saved Denver a lot of times.
