This was a little emotional, I had a friend years ago that hurt me pretty badly, so I know the feeling.

Right after this scene when Peter is regretting what he did…
Wendy: I’m bored now and I want to go home!

Magic, excitement, music, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. I am like Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, refusing to grow up and forget about all the precious things I knew, especially those from my childhood. I would never forgive anyone who messes with me and for being unkind to me. I would just forget them and turn my back on them because of they way they treat me like someone I used to know in school a long time ago. And I don't want to be friends with bullies who enjoy causing trouble to the innocent.

Peter is a character who refused to grow up but seeing the part looks like Peter is acting like a grown up because he apologizes to James for what he did and asks for forgiveness. Even though the Lost Boys and Girls are his friends, James is his first friend.
Peter and James used to be friends even going as far as dubbing him as his first Lost Boy but they had a falling out because James misses his mom and Peter got angry about it and told James to leave and find his own way home but James never made it home, instead he ended up with the pirates where he was raised by Mr. Smee and eventually the pirates made him their captain of the ship and that's when Peter and James became rivals.
But what Peter did, he didn't need to do that. He could've just helped out James find his way home but instead Peter banishes him. I understand to a degree why James wanted to leave Neverland because he misses his mom but at the same time is I just don't like how Peter went about it just letting him leave like that.
Eventually Peter learns from what he did because he realizes that what he did to James he was not a good friend to him and apologizes and asks for forgiveness, but James was too stubborn to accept his apology until Wendy intervines telling him to grow up. Like I said seeing this part I feel like Peter is acting like a grown up.

I totally agree with that, nobody is perfect.

@@scr1231 This is the reason why I believe the conflict of this film is Person vs Self.
Peter is in conflict with himself because he doesn’t want to grow up but eventually he has to accept the fact that he has to grow up. Peter should think of all the wonderful memories he’d be making when growing up, Sure there’s a negative side but always focus on the positive side of growing up: New adventures, memories, experience, you name it.
What Peter did apologizing to James Hook was a very grown up thing he did.

I would have liked it better if the crocodile was lurking below.

I lost all faith in this movie when Wendy slapped Peter. I’m not an angry person, but I’ve got limits. This makes me angry.
I despise what they did to my favourite childhood movie.
