- Wow, we couldn't believe that we were hearing "Dancing in the Dark" by Bruce Springsteen for the first time and we immediately fell in love with it! This song was an absolute classic, and it's no surprise that it became Springsteen's highest-charting single ever. We were blown away by how catchy and upbeat the music was, and the lyrics about the struggles of trying to write a hit single really hit home for us. And did you know that the music video featured a young Courtney Cox? How cool was that? It was amazing to think that this song helped introduce Springsteen to a new generation of fans, and we could totally see why. We couldn't wait to listen to more of his music!

Going to see Bruce Friday night. He's 73 and still doing it!!
I saw him in KC and Tulsa...Fantastic!!
I wish more people knew more Bruce that just Born on the USA! He has over 500 songs! He plays rock. country, folk, punk, love song, angry songs. He is an amazing story teller. and poet! Still touring, he is 73 years old and plays for almost 3 hours non stop. Next song should be Born to Run!!! BRUUUCE!!!
The girl he pulled onto the stage is Courtney Cox from friends before she became famous
She was famous way before that!
Not " that" famous though. She was on Family Ties for a bit in the 80s but she got huge from Friends.@@johnfleming6236
Born To Run is Bruce’s biggest song and a cultural banger! The video is legendary too!
I just laughed sooooo hard when you said she looked like Ralph Macchio!!! 😂🤣
I was there when he shot this video....the opening night of the tour in St. Paul MN. Played 3 sold out shows there. The first night Bruce played for 5 hours with no warm up band...the 2nd night was 4 1/2 hours. I'm sure the 3rd night was comparable. No other performer I ever saw stayed and played all night except for Springsteen!
🔥I was watching MTV constantly I was 14 and I had a crush on the Boss ❤️
not a big fan of Bruce's music but I went to one of his concerts and he puts on a show. I never sat down and that's w/o knowing most of his music. His energy is incredible. Had the best time!
Bruce's shows go for hours and they are always full of energetic crowds, and positive and/or compassionate energy. Lots of poignancy, but lots of fun too. Super solid band. Other great songs include *Philadelphia,* *57 Channels* and the anti-war hit *Born in the USA.* His guitar player led the charge for musicians to stop playing Sun City, which contributed to turning South Africans against their Apartheid government.
yeah, now South Africa is a wonderful place to live!
Young Courtney Cox….there she is….the rest- history. Meanwhile,the saxophone…….yum!❤️🎼❤️
The Big Man is TBE
Streets of Philadelphia, I'm on fire, Secret Garden... all phenomenal Bruce songs❤
I would also suggest "Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Jungleland (Live in New York City)" Clarence Clemons was the saxophonist and a key member of the E Street Band. He had some amazing solos and was a pivotal part of the band's persona. Bruce's gritty vocals are the best, and together the sax & the vocals...truly beautiful stuff, bro RIP: Clarence💔🔥
Jungleland is my favorite song by Bruce Springteen and the E Street Band. It is EPIC and has one of the best sax solos ever. Born to Run, 10th Avenue Freeze Out, Rosalita, Backstreets... all great as well.
Wendy knows her stuff... great choices. 👍 The Jungleland video from Live in NYC is fantastic, but you can't go wrong with the studio version either.
Now you know where Carlton got his moves 😂😂😂😂
Came out 1984, fabulous from Bruce Sprinsteen, not knowing Cortney Cox was a professional actor at the time! Just love this song!!!!! 💖💖💖
COURTNEY COX IS GIRL ON STAGE!!! SHE WAS IN "FRIENDS" ❤❤❤❤❤
Bruce! Born To Run!
Girl dancing at end is Courtney Cox from the classic tv show Friends.
That's Courtney Cox, she's gorgeous in this video!
Love the reactions guys try a song i love that wasnt on the radio much. Its called "ramrod"
“Rosalita” is a fun upbeat song. He has hundreds of songs, many about serious subjects, others lighter.
Live “Jungleland” is a must see
My Hometown.
The River
Glory Days
Blue collar Jersey boy.
Maybe do the live version of " If I Should Fall Behind. " Bruce wrote as a love song to his wife, but it's become a love song between Bruce, the band, and the fans!
Even Carlton was doing that dance - hope I have the name right from Fresh Prince? Lol hope I have the sitcom right but that dance will forever be his when he danced to Tom Jone's 'It's Not Unusual'
Do Thunder Road, Jungleland, or My Hometown. Studio versions tho and y’all will enjoy those for sure. But he’s got so many it’s hard to choose.
All you need to know is that this is the source of the Carlton Dance :)))
Courtney Cox was a dream girl here, I don't care what anyone says.
Downtown Train by Bruce, please. Nobody reacts to it but it my favourite!
Courtney Cox in the video from TV series Friends!
The girl on 4:17 is the actress Courteney Cox from Friends
You brothers don’t know nothing about white boy dancin!..💪🏻😂❤️

🙏RIP CLARENCE CLEMMONS🙏 🎷sax🎷🎷🎷
he borrowed some of these moves for the carlton dance
This is when Bruce cleaned up (took a shower and shaved, got a haircut, pumped some iron and looked damn fine) from his 70's days. I liked him best during this time and this album.
Ralph Macchio 😂😂😂😂
Y'ALL SHOULD LISTEN TO HIS LATEST ALBUM. IT'S INCREDIBLE! HE DOES COVERS FROM THE 60'S AND 70'S MOTOWN AND PHILLY SOUL. "ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE" "SOUL DAYS"
"NIGHTSHIFT" "WHEN SHE WAS MY GIRL" "TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME" "ANY OTHER DAY" "I WISH IT WOULD RAIN" "THE SUN AIN'T GONNA SHINE ANYMORE" "WHEN SHE WAS MY GIRL" "7 ROOMS OF GLOOM"
The music video was directed by Brian De Palma 😃👍
The party had been going for two decades already guys by the time 1980 came along.
Those 3 decades will reign forever.
Todays dire garbage is a waste of electricity.
Young Courtney Cox dancing with Bruce before she became famous.
The girl is Courtney Cox payed Monica on TV show "Friends"
The entire born in the USA album is still relevant. Listen to the lyrics
Carlton got the Carlton from the Boss lol

It’s the other way around . . . This video was filmed before Carlton so Carlton did Bruce!
The old head knows what’s up
Great reaction, but I prefer the older Bruce. My favorite is Streets of Philadelphia.
Did you know Born in the U.S.A. is NOT a patriotic song but a protest song about Vietnam?
The Boss doing the Carlton? More like Carlton doing the Boss.
True. He was the originator
LOL! Mr. Miyagi: "Show me, lame Caucasian dancing with Bruce."
Ralph Macchio lol…
Whoever suggested this song did you guys AND Springsteen wrong. It's a fun song- I love it, but it is not at all indicative of his best work. 🙁
