Moving basspod and expanding it is huge. Bass music is massive right now. I hope the set is redesigned too it needs way more screens. Once you go to any of excisions events you miss the huge graphics and visuals adds so much to the show
I was trying to get to VIP at Basspod last year for Subtronics B2B Griz and it was a NIGHTMARE just trying to get through the crowd to the VIP section. I had to walk on the outskirts of the GA area, cutting through people waiting in vendor lines. Even then the VIP and GA sections for absolutely filled to the brim for Basspod. They stopped letting people into VIP actually for a bit to make sure it was safe to let more in. Basspod has definitely gotten way more popular, especially for big named bass artist sets.
I'm excited to see how much they change it and it's placement this year! I'll be parked there for so many sets!!!!!

Getting into kinetic through the statues was brutal and a field day for pick pockets. The addition of the vip pit on the right crushed the crowd flow for GA. Hopefully the changes open things up. We would love to back if safety was improved.
Neat. Are they going to put water and soap in the GA hand washing stations this year or just leave them for decoration? 12 hours with no running water or soap unless we snuck in to GA+ was… unacceptable for a festival this alleged caliber.
Going to beyond wonderland too, i'd recommend since it's a SoCal event you bring a phone tether. So many people getting their phones stolen lately.
Starting with Eric and pryda is the biggest win🤩 dudes the greatest fr.

I've seen Dom Dolla and John Summit twice and John Summit b2b Green Velvet at iii points was amazing. Excited to see Benny Benassi, Eric Prydz/Pydra, Odd Mob along w/ b2b, David Guetta, Paul Oakenfold, Slander/Before Dawn, Diplo, DJ Snake...sooo many ppl I want to see or see again.
thank you for this video. its my 1st time to EDC and second ever festival I've been to. im going for fri and sat. but sunday I have to drive back to LA. i got the 3 day VIP pass. any suggestions on how I could sell my VIP pass for the 3rd day?
And that Sunday opening ceremony (2022) is two of my favorite DJs, BIJOU b2b Habstrakt, that is criminal. One of the reasons why I went earlier cause of that. They should’ve get the evening slot that day. Excited for this year!

Man if things are gonna look different from the moment you walk in, I wonder if that means the Cosmic Meadow will be moved. The view over the meadow is just unbeatable.

Awesome video! This will be my very 1st EDC and I have no idea where to start. The lineup is stacked as heck so I'm not sure where to go. 3 simple questions if anyone can answer. 1. When & Where is the best spot to see the fireworks (I know a lot is changing this year) 2. How difficult is it to see a set from one side to another 10 minutes or an hour? 3. What are few things to check out in past years of EDC LV? "example Downtown EDC"
1. You can see them from almost everywhere. Previous years they launch from near basspod and kinetic but with the stages moving it may be different. Don't worry they go for like 10 minutes.
2. 10 minute walk if your moving at a good pace. 20 minutes in a group. 30 minutes if your group is a mess.
3. You can see the whole venue in about an hour of walking around leisurely. Place is pretty empty if you get their early on Friday. Most people come between 8-11pm

o0o0o great question - Prydz's sets always have a mix of him, Pryda and Cirez D so you get some of that techno in there when he does Cirez.
Pryda to me is more progressive and and euphoric sounding, less vocals, super layered melodies, but some tracks still go really hard.
These are my top feel good Pryda tracks (Pryda 10 VOL III is my favorite for this style): Allein, Loving You, The Beginning, Terminal 5, SOL
These are my top darker/heavier hitting Pryda tracks: Rebel XX (this one melts my brain live every single time) Elements, Warrior, Run, Stay With Me (he plays this one a lot)
