I hope you realize how valuable your problem solving skills are. You solve so many problems in gifted ways to make all our lives easier, our knuckles less skinned, and our cars run better/smoother. Many thanks.

Elin, if the exhaust guys want to take down the sway bar to give room to make a new exhaust, you better warn them NOT to unbolt the sway bar blocks!!

Those bars look good and your installation and discussion are meticulous as always. There should be some relatively simple way to solve the exhaust problem. Let us know about that when the problem is solved. 🙂 Thanks for another great video.

Great instructional video Elin.. There are not many videos on installing replacement upgraded roll bars . Having watched how you did it and the difficulties, it might just put a few folks off trying it 😅. I was almost working up a sweat on your behalf .. Eye catching car that has the look of being driven regularly.

You could, if you absolutely need to, just add a 1" spacer block to the mounting bracket on the rear sway bar. Of course, you'd need longer bolts as well.

Excellent video and great work Elin! First time I've seen one of your videos. I will look at more! I'm curious as to why the designer made the links to the rear trailing arms so long thus making the sway bar ends so low? That the bar ends are then pointing forward and hanging low poses a snagging hazard I think. Some how it doesn't look good to me.

First…😉 Yeah, I thought you might have some clearance issues with the exhaust. Nice looking bars though…well designed. I think they will go on my 70 PI.

I put Good parts sway bars on my TR6 and I have a Stebro exhaust . I had the same clearance problem with the rear sway bar , I wound up making aluminum spacers to go between the sway bar pivots and the frame , ---It's been a while since I did it and I cant remember what I did to bolt it . ---Not sure if I used the orriginal U bolts or had to get ones with longer legs .

Elin, do you know why the TR4s had front sway bars, the TR6s had front sway bars, but the TR4A didn’t have them? Did it have something to do with them being first generation IRS cars?

Don't know why your not putting in the exhaust would seem more efficient if you did it.

Those are heim (in the US) or rose (in the UK) joints, not ball joints.

Absolutely correct. However, if you call them by their correct names no one will know what you are talking about. The vagaries of established falseness.
